No I'm just looking at it from an engineering perspective. I've long been a devil's advocate. Just because it's not practical, doesn't mean it's not possible. Those aren't really sound calculations, just estimates assuming they're designed to be safe. For accurate calculations you'd need to do Finite Element Analysis.

Weight distribution is still a problem. With the seat a lot of the weight is put towards the middle of the toilet as opposed to the overhang, and your legs are still supporting some of your weight when you're sitting.

The only weight your legs support are the lower legswhich is maybe 10-20 lbs each. Also things are designed with safety factors. I learned in strength of materials all about Safety Factor (SF), common ones are 2 for static structures (structural memberslike I beams) , 4 for repeated loads, and 8 for impact loads. So if we use an average weight of 178 lbs, and say increase it to 200lbs, then apply a SF of 4, since this is a repeating load we'll use 4x, which means 800lbs, so in theory it would hold an 800 lb person. Now since its a ceramic they would probably use a much higher SF in actuality.

Actually, most seats (that i've seen) have two hinges and two resting points, which makes 4 contact points which the ceramic, 2 feet would have an areas greater or equal than that area.

Yea, the problem with ceramics is they break without warning. They are very strong but extremely brittle. For example tempered glass (car side windows) can be hit with a hammer and not break, but if hit with something very sharp (like the ceramic from a broken spark plug) it can shatter instantly.
