What I am saying is something akin to flashing your lights at someone to move out of the way. Its meant to communicate, not harm while on the road. M8, if they are that close to your bumper (right on your ass) and you SLAM on the fucking brakes, there ain't gonna be no making sure you get going again before the rear end you. Brake checking someone is tapping the brakes. Enough to be noticeable but not enough to let them slam into your ass. | No, it is not "brake checking". You do not slam on your brakes and cause a potential crash. You VERY lightly tap your brakes twice, just enough to turn on your brake lights. You do this rapidly twice to let the other person know behind you to back off. This was taught about 15 years ago in the US of A. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=brake+check Brake checking. FJ got hit hard with a lot of downtime recently. I'm working hard to improve the site, adding new features (mp4s, webms, and GIFs in comments, new comment features, etc) and trying to make the site better for mobile.
