Like 5 seconds before the fight happens the dude jumps in crowders face, clearly on camera after a scuffle that wasn't recorded.

It's unknown who initiated the contact but the man was obviously in crowders space when it happened and the crowd was extremely violent to the point where one union man was shouting that he killed multiple people with a gun before.

this is all on the unedited tape.

In that environment id think anyone would push someone away who is in their personal space.

okay so I did a quick research of the topic. Turns out the war I was thinking of was before WWII, but the typical war that is associated with that one sniper was in fact a revolutionary war during the span of WWII against the USSR. There were four "wars" all about the same thing, and is usually clumped together as one war, and because roughly half of it (primarily the revolution part of the war) was during WWII, it gets clumped into a front in WWII. That makes a whole lot of sense because I was under the false impression that the sniper and the kickass strategies of Finland was before WWII, but it was really during.

This site lists them as "wars" as plural: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-Finnish_wars. So yeah I guess we were talking about two technically separate wars. I did not know that, thanks for pointing that out

Well the reason I don't include it as the same war is because I think by doing so, it belittles the Finns who defended their homes. To me, if it's just "another front in WWII", it's almost an insult towards the Finns.

That, and it was years before the Axis and Allies formally declared war on each other.

Are we talking about the same war here? Because winter war started in 30th of November of 1939, 3 months after the outbreak of WW2. It lasted until 13th of March 1940. After that was the peace treaty that went for a year and then Continuation war started. That lasted from 25th of June 1941 to 19th of September 1944. So during that time WW2 was going on. Even German troops where deployed during Continuation war to help out Finland against the Russians.

I mean, I can get were you're coming from. If you want to include the war in Finland as part of WWII, that's fair; and Stalin invaded Finland with no just cause, and the Red Army was clearly in the wrong (same thing goes with invading Poland and many others).

I hope I didn't hint that the war was any less bad or important because I think it can be separated as it's own war, separate to WWII; Stalin, and every soldier involved, shouldn't have done it.

If you're still interested in my argument about comparing nations in WWII, obviously although the USSR invaded Finland and many other nations, so did Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. So, again, the actions by the USSR are at the very least comparable. (Justification of the Soviet-Finnish war was that it was reclaiming "lost territories" from Tsarist Russia - BS reasons, but the same reasons of why Nazi Germany invaded countries)

I understand your argument, but even on the wiki page it includes Winter war and Continuation war as part of WW2. I mean sure you can personally say that it is it's own separate war, but even historians categorise it in WW2. It's is own war in a sence that Finland didn't fight on the main front, but it is still part of WW2.

I do know about that war, and I obviously wished that it never occurred, and because it did, I commend the Finns for their valiant defense. Again, I made it quite clear that I'm only comparing countries during the Second World War. Soviet Atrocities in the Soviet-Afghan war were pretty bad, but it's dumb to bring it up in an argument with a domain of WWII. I can understand Finland however, because it during Hitler's rise to power (I argue separate from WWII, just as the Sino-Japanese Wars were separate from WWII to most people)

Personally I love it, story is good, and gameplay is better than the last 2. Only problem I have with it is that it doesn't take too long to become overleveled for quest. especially if you're doing alot of sidequests, wich makes the rewards for quests trash compared to the equipment you crafted.

Havent tried it on the New game+ yet tho. Deff worth the money

Should I get it even if I haven't played the first two? I did that with Dragon age 3 and it turned out all right. I know it is weird to play the last game first but I just wasn't interested in the ones before this and then suddenly this game started getting game of the year level praise everywhere.
#64 - anon (09/05/2015) [-]
if you played dragon age 3 and liked it prepare to be amazed
#62 - sturmbeard (09/05/2015) [-]
You could play witcher 3 first, as the story isn't that much connected, aside from some choices and characters apperance and/or behaviour towards you, there isn't too much connecting the 3 games.

It provides some backstory, but you can play witcher 3, and get a fair understanding of the story before.

I recomend playing the first 2, to get a feeling of the universe.
#68 - watmilk (09/05/2015) [-]
I tried playing the first game back before the second was released, but i just couldnt play anymore after 3-4 hours, the controls and everything was just too awefull, the second was a bit better but i felt that aswell was lacking.. so I've been considering reading the books first, instead of playing 1 and 2 before playing the third, you know if that is a good solution? I mostly love RPGs for the story, but when the controls get so bad that the first Mass Effects controls is a divine creation you know something is not right :<
#73 - sturmbeard (09/05/2015) [-]
I havent read the books yet, but the books take place almost 100 years before the games, so it wouldn't give too much info for the games.

But reading the wiki before buying w3 gives a solid clue to the story.
