Like I said though, a bit of a shame.

Then again my family was never particularly religious. We only went inside a church once and that was after 9/11 to light a candle. Everyone finds their own path I suppose.

What a shame. I don't really have a problem with Catholicism outside the Just War doctrine. That and Catholics who cling to the 'One True Unchangable Church' mantra. Any honest study of history shows that to be untrue. But that's a whole theological rant that isn't really fit for this conversation.

Any reason why you stopped going? Couldn't find the right house?

Well, I was pretty young when we stopped, elementary school age. If I had to guess, my mom was more used to a big Catholic church, and these smaller ones were run a lot differently. That and none of us were particularly religious in the first place.

Hey, my family used to be Catholic!
Of course, we switched during the height of the child molesting scandal.
We tried a few other churches in town before we just sort of stopped going.
