ah yes k i getcha. in this circumstance if we're just talking about alcohol+rape there are obviously two points where things went wrong...the drunkness and the rapist. I mean the person who got themselves wrote off is responsible for themselves but not for the rapings. Yeah, even in the scenario of someone getting wasted, I would never say they deserved it or should suffer through their consequences with no help or compensation for their trouble.
I think that's why it's important to think about these situations with a bit of logic, to prevent people from thinking either one person or the other should take 100% of the responsibility.
