It was by far the best thing about brawl.

I like to think smash is sort of like a vacation of sorts for video games finest. Like behind all the fighting there's a huge resort that all the fighters stay and interact at. That's why i love seeing short comics like this, but it would be great if there was a longer more in depth series.

Yeah I would definitely get behind Smash Bros the comic. I was actually disappointed there was no story mode this time round for that reason. Not that subspace emissary was great, but seeing the cast interact made it interesting.

Another example is Australian beef. Cooking a steak is harder with poor quality beef (sourced from animal, production, packaging, or butchering). World chefs consider Australia to be a great place to eat steak anywhere, due to its high quality availability in restaurants. It is just easier to provide than in America's franchised steak restaurants (ew Applebees, Charlie Brown, Outback, Black Angus, etc).

Unlike America's industry, Australia's has a better practice when raising livestock and more strict protocols. They can do this because Australia has a low population and good/large farming territories.

To me this is the most clear example where I can say, "America you done fucked up good..." BUT, pretty much the whole food industry is broken in the US.

I agree with this but want to add that the reason things are done the way they are in America (as far as cattle farming goes) is because it is cheaper and quicker. From my knowledge, Australian beef is all grass fed while most American beef is corn fed. The reason they do this is because there is so much fucking corn being grown here that it costs a fraction of the price to feed cattle corn compared to feeding them grass. Additionally, it is a much higher source of calories and makes them grow to full size in almost half the time it would take if they were grass fed. Now this sounds great but it really isn't. You end up with cattle that now have stomachs and intestines full of e.coli that is able to withstand human stomach acids because the corn lowers the pH of the cows stomach acid to be nearly as acidic as human stomach acid. This also means that by the time cattle are slaughtered, they stomachs are full of holes because they aren't meant to handle that kind of acid and they organs are beginning to fail due to poor nutrition which can lead to tough beef. You also end up with extremely fatty beef, which usually tastes fine but is really terrible for you. They also keep the cattle cooped up in small pens and they end up living the bulk of their lives knee deep in their own shit because of over crowding and lack of cleaning. Because of the ethical and health issues (bacterial contamination, saturated fats, etc), there has been a movement back towards grass fed and free range cattle but the bulk of American beef still comes from these factory farms. I actually find I prefer grass fed beef because the high fat content of corn fed beef tends to upset my stomach.

Yes, exactly, people are willing to murder you for leaving the religion, so I think it'd be better if they talked about the consequences they'd face or the attitudes they'd face from other muslims rather than just declaring they're not religious, dood. I know it takes a lot of courage to speak out against Islam in any way, but it just feels to me like it misses the point of the hashtag when people basically write in "I'm ex muslim because I'm ex muslim" rather than something like "I'm ex muslim because people are willing to murder me for claiming to be ex muslim." I'm not saying their reason isn't valid, or the struggles they've faced or will face in the future because of what they say aren't real, but the hashtag is better (to me, at least) when people point out specific reasons that caused them to abandon their faith, or aspects of the religion that flew in the face of their own moral compass, or at least talking about how others would react to their dissent.

Your point makes sense. There may be ways to better get the point across, but what they are doing is still worthwhile. I don't think anyone is disagreeing with you, but we, as people who believe in freedom of speech, religion, etc,. should still support what they are doing.
