Humility huh? Your the one that thinks his knowledge is compleate, at the mere age of 20.

Arrogance dosen't equate to immaturity. What aspect of me do you think makes me immature?
I feel like i made my point, in regards to arrogance, so what other aspects? That i dont have empathy for animals? That i disagree with you??
Maturity is a funny thing, since many people define it differently. I'de like to hear your definition of it, becouse it seems like its wholely different from mine.
I am relatively polite, well mannered, and generally dont resort to banal dirt throwing or name calling during a serius arguement. That is some of things i connect with maturity. Maturity at heart, to me anyway, is about knowing when to be serius and pull your shit together, and really come through at the peak of your performance and dignity.
While this might not be such a situation per-say, it still calls for a level of seriosity, which i feel i have shown since it dawned on me, that this was a serius discussion.
I feel on the other hand, that you, in spite of my previous plea that you'de stop, have continued to call me a child...also in spite of common sense that dictates that i am not, but let that be as it is.
So please, enlighten me. Explain to me in clear detail why you think i am childish, and why you equate arrogance with immaturity, and finally, why you dont think its the slightest bit arrogant that you think your understand of the topic of history is compleate.

And, just so you know, we had a guy who corrected the teacher in physics aswell. He was wrong 90% of the time, but nobody had the hearts to really take him aside and confront him. He ended up dropping out.

well, atleast i curbed your pathetic laugher. Thats allways something, right?
Anyway, you've got to stop trying to get me pissed. I know i started, and i am sorry about that, but this discussion no longer has room for childish insults like your continued use of "boy".

And no, 20 years is not enough time. Simply. I've allways been hugely interested in science, and has read up on Mathmatics and Physics for as long as i can remember, but i am not presumptious enough to think i have an extensive knowledge of the subject at age 20 (gonna be 20 by January, so yeah. Allmost 20 at this point)
You may have a rough idear of the subject, but its not extensive in anyway.
I read very often, and am currently slightly over half way through H.P Lovecrafts Necronomicon, which utilises quite sophisticated language, if i was to say so myself.

I generally tend to presume people are uneducated on every topic untill they prove me wrong. Thats the easiest way of going about my business since most people are actually pretty uneducated.

And please, my previous explanation of what i am mayoring in this summer didn't quite take the point clear, then i'll summerise thusly: Dont try to talk to me about complicated notes. I think i have an idear what a complicated note looks like.

This is all of course, assuming you speak the truth about your history knowledge, a fact of which i have no proof, but am ready to believe you, for the course of this conversation. Otherwise i'de be debating a moron, and then i'de be the fool, i guess.

You say i deserve scorn becouse of my arrogance...why? If i am more intelligent, stronger, has better manners and vocabulary, and am more physically actractive, then why should i not be proud? If i am, all round a better person than someone else, then why should i neclect myself the joy of pride in that superiority?

Because by simply claiming you are better, you are not. Immaturity immediately negates many of the things you think make you superior. When you're older, maybe you'll understand, boy.

As for what you deem an extensive knowledge, I'm sorry that you have not read up on physics as much as I have read history. It is unfortunate that you feel it is impossible for youth to be educated; to have an extensive knowledge. I teach my college history class, because my professor got tired of me correcting him.

I call you boy, because mentally you are a child. You are a boy as far as I am concerned. mature a little, then we'll talk. Until then, Don't even bother responding, boy. I have nothing left to say to you, since you obviously are too dense to understand the concept of humility.

I don't think dolphins are able to perform life saving surgery's. Your argument is invalid lol i know you want to sound smart and all but sadly humans are completely way above any other form of life on the food chain. if lions were born with strength superior to humans and you say take away all of our tools that we made then take away the lions strength. actually i think if trained enough a human can take a lion down. but anyways lions have strength we have intelligence its both part of the body and mind hur.

Apples to oranges? Are we having the same conversation? 20 years, atleast 10 of which was spendt sucking your thumb and doing nothing, is NOT a long enough time to have an "extensive" knowledge of history. You might a hefty deal of historical facts, but that dosen't make that knowledge extensive. I am arrogant. I am in fact, very arrogant. I have my damn right to be arrogant. I am intelligent, well spoken, quick witted, physically actractive and mentally resolute. I earned the right of arrogance through study of myself and my enviroment, and finally evloved enough that i might be considered objectively superior to quite a few people, therefor i am arrogant.
Arrogance that is justified is not nessasarily a bad thing.

Unless all you really want is just to throw around dirt, you need to adress my arguements. I think your arguements suck, and i think your study for having them, but i still adress them, as if though they're equal to my own. Thats called common courtesy dude. You should look it up.

Seriusly, trying to deny that i am superior to a gold fish is just pitiful. And to me, thats essentially what your doing.

Every time you stretch those fingers over your keyboard you seem to make more and more of an ass of yourself. I'll tell you that you really aren't that well spoken, and yes, you were comparing apples to oranges. I stopped acknowledging your arguments as soon as you mentioned how much money you felt you were going to get.

You are not justified in your arrogance.

And 20 years is plenty of time to have an extensive knowledge of history. Obviously, you don't read very often, and thus you think everyone else is as uneducated in history as yourself. I started reading right about the time I was getting out of diapers. I read Moby Dick in 2nd grade. I got tired of classical literature by middle school and started reading history textbooks like novels. By the time I reached senior year, I had finished at least a dozen textbooks on American history, and at least twice that many in world history. Youth is not an indication of lack of knowledge, boy.

You feel you deserve arrogance? When you've come close to even reading my notes on human history, then maybe I might listen to something you have to say about the human race with that arrogant tone. You are objectively inferior to others simply BECAUSE of your arrogance, and people are pretty low anyways.

Just so you know, I am no longer laughing at you. Now it's just disgust.

I always find it amusing when people say the earth is running out of net resources when in reality nothing is actually changing with respect to earth as a body.

We don't adapt to the environment, we adapt the environment to us.
In one person's perspective this is called destruction, and in another, progress.
Either way, we don't get a choice in the matter. We weren't born with claws, wings, venom or astounding strength, but intellect.

I can't take down wild animals to eat with my bare hands, so I build a bow and arrow to hunt with. A few hundred years of tinkering later, I now have a rifle that's very efficient hunting food.
I can't break up acres and acres of clay with my bare hands to plant crops, so I build a steel plow to farm and seed with. A few hundred hundred years of tinkering later, I now have tractors and combines that can feed me and my community.

Like I said, some people call it destruction, others call it progress.

That is not the destruction I mean. I respect tools, and I respect farming. What I hate, is the destruction like tearing down thousands of trees to make paper which we scribble on once and throw away. Ripping up and destroying entire ecosystems to build our cities? awful.
