I'm sure the Citizens of North Korea feel the same, What with having no idea that there's so much food in South Korea. An NK high school cheerleading squad went to SK for a competition but were told they couldn't tell anyone about SK when they returned home. One of the girls was talking about an SK grocery store and about how amazing it was how much food they have in SK. She was arrested and sent to an NK hard labor camp. Another story about an epidemic going on in NK and QJI allowed some western doctors in to help. When it was over the citizens were praying to QJI for saving them since he was pretty much their god. Hussein had rape camps for thousands of women to be used by his soldiers, like you say I'm sure they didn't want rescuing. And all those slaughterer citizens yup.. none of them wanted anymore of that prevented. A dog that gets beaten by it's master every day doesn't want to be taken away from it's master either. Sometimes, things are so bad you simply have to stop it regardless of what the locals think. I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of them that hate our guts, and want us all to die... Never realizing or even considering that many of them would be dead, in rape camps, starving, or many other levels of severe suffering if we hadn't showed up.

BTW We didn't invade Iraq over 9/11, we invaded AFGHANISTAN in less than 2 weeks over 9/11. I thinkit's hilarious people call Afghanistan "Obama's War" when we were there a couple years before the Second Iraq war.

We later invaded Iraq because Hussein started aiding/supplying/harboring the terrorists fleeing/fighting in/from Afghanistan, the fact we were deposing a dictator was just the icing on the cake.

And no, don't go the "for oil" route. Simply fact, how many gallons of oil do we currently buy and/or import from Iraq? Answer: 0 America doesn't see a single drop of Iraqi oil, which really shits bricks for us because they'd give us a hell of a discount on it.
