Exactly what I mean. Like, when I play I have an imaginary protractor to line up shots on angles etc... but when it comes to curving the cue ball along the table, it's tough cause you have to account for initial force on the ball, movement speed, speed gain and loss, how fast it will curve, where on the ball you must hit it etc... You feel like a marksman.

It's an easy shot if you can do the angle and put enough force on the backspin. I personally suck at skipping my shots like that, I'm better at curving the ball towards another.
