I understand your frustration but I don't mind it at all. The show has been a great adaptation. But that's what it is, an adaptation. We shouldn't expect a one on one recreation on tv because that wouldn't be good tv. Sure Bloodraven is a fascinating character. But would he really have contributed to the grand story? Would there be time to explain who he is and why he is important. Would this be interesting to watch for non-book readers? I don't think it would be so I don't mind the change.

its not about showing the character and giving him a story arc, but rather giving him the personality traits that he has in the original story. the cunning ex-hand of the king that was able to smell a rebellion from half a continent away. also couldnt have hurt if they made him look like in the books, wouldve barely needed any cgi.
instead of the nature and time demi-god that is literally tied to the land we get this old senile fart that greets the kids while doing jumping jacks in the middle of the hall.

That's deaths, not occurence of hostility. You can bet your ass that the average tiger would maul the shit out of you when you tried to hug it. But just a random muslim has a very small chance to actually be violent against you. Even if he sympathises with groups like ISIS, a very very small minority of muslims are actively aggressive against Westerners. That small group just happens to kill a lot of people when they do it.
Don't tell me that if I forced you to choose between going into a room with a tiger or a room with a muslim and hug it/him, that you'd choose the tiger.
I live in a country with 825,000 muslims. You know how many people have been killed by them in name of Islam? Just one. And that one wasn't even organized terrorism or anything. It was just one bloke.
Get your shitty statistics outta here and check your facts.
