Nah, I'm happy with the odd joint from time to time.

The outlook is bleak only in comparison to the idealised view of those who believe in the soul and the afterlife. But I think that our fleeting existence, and the amount of change we can bring about in that time, is beautiful, and the fact that we decompose into our basest elements to give life anew for the rest of time is the most beautiful thing I can think of.

I'd rather be worm food than sit around a table, singing about how awesome God is, unable to complain or refuse for all eternity.

You're saying that it can't be that perfect with a chance or stroke of luck like it' a fact.
Maybe it was luck.

And if soul would exist, it doesn't have to do anything with building a computers, it's not a brain.

Weren't you listening? I said I believed that NOBODY has a soul. You have as many souls as your loving dog and Mao Zedong and Nikola Tesla and Josef Fritzl and everyone who has ever existed, that number being zero.

And I may have been a bit too bold with my claim. It's my personal belief, not fact. Though there is no proof that a soul exists, there is plenty of evidence that the human ego would be capable of creating an "eternal" element of their beings.

Dies with the body. It's in your brain, the brain decays.
User avatar #56 - sanguinesolitude (10/25/2013) [-]
what is a soul?
User avatar #47 - kirkybobz (10/25/2013) [-]
There is no soul. Nothing "passes on" when we die. Our advanced consciousness comes from an advanced brain due to millions of years of chance through evolution, hence why no other species has gained sentience like humans have.

We die and our bodies feed the next generation of life. That's all there is. So make this life count, ladies and gentlemen.
User avatar #52 - titsmcghee (10/25/2013) [-]
You say that like its a fact, which its not. Sure, our bodies are fleeting but the soul is what remains intact. "due to millions of years of chance through evolution" haha i know the earth and people didnt just appear in seven days, but the way things work so perfectly cant be left up to chance or a stroke of luck. It was all guided, and for a reason. Just because other animals cant build a computer doesnt mean they dont have souls. Youre trying to tell me that my dogs, which love unconditionally, dont have souls, yet Mao did? although i cant prove any of this, and you cant either, i find that yours a is a bretty damn bleak outlook.

Also, the KKK are pretty low profile nowadays. The Terrorists just passed their peak, and their's came at a time with new technology allowing for greater killing of innocent people.
