that's not what I said at all. they should do something smaller for lots of kids, that way at least you are making more than one kid's life happy, even if its not as happy as that one kid would have been it is still better.

why only give one man a feast when you can give many a meal?
#50 - timerce (11/17/2013) [-]
but make-a-wish doesnt just give one kid an event like this. they do a lot of stuff for a lot of kids, this just happened to be a little bigger (again likely through the help of donations and volunteers) than typical.

its still kinda dick to only do it for one kid tho... I mean, what about the other kids that just have to sit in hospital dying and seeing this kid on the news getting special treatment for what?
#73 - theism (11/17/2013) [-]
Maybe others kids saw it and felt a little better. Maybe they felt like someone cares about people in their situation. And maybe it helps raise awareness.
User avatar #75 - ninjason (11/17/2013) [-]
as a kid you would just feel jealous and left out
#76 - theism (11/17/2013) [-]
Or maybe you think "People don't just ignore people like me. Maybe they do care."
User avatar #77 - ninjason (11/17/2013) [-]
if they cared they would help more than one kid

They do. Look up what the make a wish foundation is.

so because they cant help every kid they shouldnt help any? come on now. be serious.

I'm not a kid, almost 21 and I have heard about it through a friend and I don't watch the news, its all bull shit. Yeah its uncommon, but what I was saying is it depends on who you get it from and what they do to it, if anything at all.

Its common sense. Most married couples have their own personal saving and checking accounts. Then they get a joint accounts for bills and emergencies. After they have kids they set up an account to save for college and, later on, an account to teach the kid financial responsibility.
Not every family has all of those accounts, but plenty of people have more.

no. people dont add in tar and the other shit into weed. dont believe the media hype man. though the newest fad in getting stoned is probably pretty bad for you. dabs.

I'm just curious as to why. I'm not saying you dont have the right and I dont really care about the thumb itself. I'm just wondering what about this content made you want to thumb it down.

Alright man. I just always see content that gets thumbed down and I see no reason why it should have been.

Thanks for being such a good sport.
