I imagine that like most things in life, it's something that you can easily do a half-arsed job of. You can take an easy position or you can take the ambitious and more difficult roles. If you join up because you heard about the "chair force" then you can take an easy position. If you want more than that then you can find something more.

I honestly don't know.... I believe in kids, and I think that the youth of my country are given nothing but digestive end product. I want to help them, but I don't know if I can do anything. There's a problem with our education system and it's bigger than anything I can do. All I can do is try I guess. Teaching young kids would be easier, but I can be more expressive in the role with older children and allow creativity to flow better, know what I mean? It's a while away anyway. I have time to think it through.

That's why i chose my position. I didn't want to be that typical chair force soldier. Gets loads of creds from the others for going through hell tho.

I hear ya. Most ed systems are too fucked up. Even ours have some fucked up things. I want to change that but i don't know what to do. Atleast we're not as fucked as theamerican system

Yeah, the whole "chair force" always sounded like bullshit to me. I imagine it's harder than they say. I don't think I could do it to be honest, I don't have that kind of commitment or ambition to be honest, so it's not for everyone!

And studying for a History degree, possibly heading into a teaching career, not decided yet. I just want to do the History bit first, and then I could do my teaching qualifications as a postgraduate if I need to. But yeah, I'll be sharing the place with 4 or 5 other people, so I don't want to blow up our shared kitchen trying to cook haha

Yeah. It's easier than specialforces and that digestive end product but still. And some professions in the af is slack but i think all the branches has slack positions.

Teaching... damn that's cool. I have also thought of being a teacher but i don't think i'm qualified for that sort. What kind of teacher? Like elementary or more like university?

You should have known it'd be difficult. But it's rewarding in other ways right? It's certainly a noble profession either way, so well done dude

Me? Nah I don't do a whole lot of partying, I wish I did. Mainly finishing my final exams and getting ready for university. I'll be moving out of home in September too, which to me is fucking terrifying because I have no idea how I'm going to be able to look after myself. I'm not the most responsible guy, let's face it...

Yeah i guess. I always hear the "Chair Force" so i wasn't prepared for it to be that hard. eventhough i wanted to join the army. But i managed to lose around 13kg since march so it's cool.

That's awesome. What are you going to study? And don't you worry about living alone. When i moved for myself for a year when i was 16 i had almost never cooked anything. I just looked shit up on the internet or called my parents for help. Not that hard. And i suck at evrrything
