Sometimes there will be a homeless person sleeping in there and yes, it will smell horrible. It's so bad that no one can bare staying in the same car.

The Pound is a very strong and desirable currency, and in fact, for Scotland it's the most beneficial option; however, seceding from the UK and then using their currency is the most pointless, backward idea ever. We'd basically be using a currency controlled by people who hate us. It totally cancels out the Pound's strength.

The Euro is weak and flimsy compared to the Pound, though I think people underestimate its necessary diversity. That said, independent Scotland would not be allowed to join the EU, and even if we got the Euro, it's almost useless if you aren't within the European Union.

It's just another point the Yes voters are conveniently not talking about, because it endangers their Braveheart-centric views. I am absolutely dreading tomorrow. If the Yes vote goes through, I lose my job and I also lose my chances at the job I'm currently chasing. Both businesses will need to move south, and I can't afford to follow.

They're also considering the Norwegian Krone.

User avatar #9 - feelythefeel (09/17/2014) [-]
Pretty sure Euros are at least mostly used by members of the European Union. Not sure if it's exclusive.
User avatar #20 - kosicandavid (09/17/2014) [-]
Euros are used in states that are not in EU like Montenegro or Kosovo (discussion if Kosovo is state or not is not what I want right now).... Also Andorra, Monaco and San Marino are not part of EU but they use Euro. These states in contrast of Montenegro and Kosovo can also mint they own eurocoins (each state that is part of Eurozone have different theme in the back of their eurocoins). Sooo Scotland can hypothetically use Euro but if they will get independence and one day become part of EU and Eurozone it would not be really wise to use it. I think the best for them would be to create their own currency ( Scottish pound?? ) and after that try to became part of EU and Eurozone.

They could just join the EU and use the Euro.
User avatar #18 - feelythefeel (09/17/2014) [-]
Why? The Euro's dying.

I just said they could I didn't recommend it.

Using a new currency is Scottlands best bet if they get the oil the money will probably skyrocket like the norwegian currency.

Yeah, I mean this whole GamerGate thing will only effect gaming journalism.

Gaming companies don't give a shit, if they can make the same amount of money as they did last year then in their eyes nothing has changed.

Basically keep buying stuff you like and they will keep making it.

It's not a test to see if they're racist. They were expecting the answer to be the one that most closely resembled her because most children think very highly of themselves. But this shows that she has been taught enough stereotypes to override her natural instincts.

It isn't so much about lining up with anything. It is more a case of directing the attention of the viewer and the overall framing and proportions of the image.

User avatar #11 - thefates (09/12/2014) [-]
The way that it works, as many art pieces do, is that the first time you look at it and possibly many times after the first time you will follow that spiral going inwards as your focus of attention. It's to allow the artist to better direct your view in to the painting.
User avatar #51 - pokemonstheshiz (09/12/2014) [-]
that's honestly never made sense to me.
The focal point is right in the middle, and everything else is peripheral. That type of use would only make sense if there were multiple focal points IMO, and the artist wanted to guide your attention through them.
User avatar #55 - thefates (09/12/2014) [-]
Often times there are multiple focal points, however the point here is that you look at that particular piece of art longer than mediocre pieces.
