You'll wanna talk with Toshiro, he's the head of FJNN.

I'm just the Visual Effects Supervisor

Good point.

*mentions* Toshiro I'd like to suggest you put moderates on the news team in order to keep it at least relatively balanced.

The goal is even better. We plan on collectively gathering information on news articles and making it opinion free.

Let our viewers decide how to feel based on information given. Not push them to accept a narrative

So I guess he-who-shall-not-be-named *cough*Infinitereaper*cough* isn't on the network?

If you're looking for some assistance, I'm generally good with asian affairs and just... Well I follow political stuff rather closely. I'm a poly sci and philosophy major in university.

I'm not quite sure how you plan on running it, but it may be cool to have updates on just major events that happened in certain areas, like a "what you missed this week" sort of photo collection.

If you truly do plan on making it unbiased though, I wish you luck.

Not yet, but we'd love to have him.

We could definately use an Asian reporter, the more more info we bring in the better we can get a grasp of how they interconnect

I believe the current idea is a weekly round up, and daily news further down the line. We're still getting a programme together

We're not intentionally going to be bias, we will be I'm sure. It's human nature, but we're at least going to make a conscious effort to try

I was born in, and currently live in America (I'm white) but I've actually been to Japan as a foreign exchange student and I plan on traveling to Korea and China if possible in my lifetime. I like to think I at least have a decent grasp of the culture there.

Out of all the fuckery happening in this world, though,I hate the Chinese Communist Party most of all. They harvest organs from prisoners, engage in mass suppression of basic rights, and bully every country except China itself, yet people generally don't talk about it.

But yeah, it all seems like a cool concept.

idk man mainstream media in general is biased as fuck these days

I like zero hedge tho

Yeah, but there are many opinions on FJ, we'll push many away if it seems to be leaning a certain way all the time.

New Logo Concept, btw.

>I think it's kinda ironic how repubs want no gun restrictions though.
This is not true. It depends a lot on the state but are generally fine with the way things are in your average state.

>Also - background checks. That's literally all one needs for gun control.
I think you'll be satisfied to know that we have them. Problem already solved.

>Also - background checks. That's literally all one needs for gun control.
If the person is a verified, law-abiding citizen then let them have a gun. We should make it fast, easy, and I think banning guns is a bad idea.

That's what we already do, is it not?

>I think it's kinda ironic how repubs want no gun restrictions though.
It's rather hypocritical.

I wouldn't know, I'm not a Republican. I just don't see the point in bitching about gun control when the problem is that we're not doing enough to deal with the people doing illegal shit, like bringing guns and shit into the country, or doing enough to deal with the mentally ill who are at risk of snapping and slaughtering a bunch of innocent civilians.

Look at the "War on drugs". Where has it gotten us in the years since it started? It's just a waste of taxpayer money.

>Look at the general stance on immigration. I can take your logic and throw it back:
"Well making it harder to become a citizen makes people just want to cross the border illegally, so we should just let people become citizens easily"

That is actually a good point.

>If a person is eligible to buy a gun, then he should be eligible to cross the border and be a citizen, then vice versa. If you wouldn't trust someone to come over the border, then why trust him with a gun? Just because someone is born in America doesn't mean he's exempted from being a criminal.

No shit, I never said it did. But you're not going to solve the problem just by signing more restrictions on guns into law.

One, your argument for gun control has nothing to do with the point the post was making. Don't try covering up your own misinterpretation with a general argument against gun control.

Also - background checks. That's literally all one needs for gun control.
