I understand that bans can be both permanent and temporary depending on the rule violation. Which is why I'm asking that, considering it being my first offense and having given an apology to the mod in question, I be given a second chance and be added back to the board.

I am Cormy, an average FJ user, I've been around for a few years as anon but recently made an account when anons could no longer post pictures. Most of the time when I comment it's to try and settle something I either don't understand or have a different view on.
I don't seek to "win" arguments, just to understand the other person's points.
