I'll admit, I'm trying to be a little more selfish lol.
For the longest time, I would buy my [ex] best friend so much food and stuff, I'd always pay when we'd go out to eat, I gave her rides wherever and whenever because she was and is too lazy to get her license.
Doing selfless acts feels good, but I was being taken advantage of at one point, because she'd never give anything in return.
I don't always expect something back, but a "thank you" would be greatly appreciated lol.
