I tend to spend my days in the seventies. I am quite dapper if I may say so. Of course I may say so. I'm the doctor.

HELLO HETEROSEXUAL GALLIFREYAN TIME-LORD MAN.

I HAVE COMPLETED THE TASK OF BUILDING THE TARDIS LIBRARY IN THE TITULAR COMPUTER GAME KNOWN ON EARTH AS "MINECRAFT".

I SHALL NOW POST PICTURES FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.
#199 to #198 - moisture (09/07/2015) [-]
So first thing's first, this is the Exterior of the TARDIS and Library.
On picture taken at night to show off lighting.
#200 to #199 - moisture (09/07/2015) [-]
This is the interior of the Library, with Six Floors in total, all filled to the brim with Books.
#201 to #200 - moisture (09/07/2015) [-]
This is another view of the Interior, showing off more of the Top floor.
#202 to #201 - moisture (09/07/2015) [-]
This one shows off even more of the Top floor and Skylight.
And those pillars were a pain in the ass to Sculpt.
#203 to #202 - moisture (09/07/2015) [-]
These are some "Artistic" photos of The Library, The 5th Doctor's TARDIS, and The Main Control Room.
#204 to #203 - moisture (09/07/2015) [-]
And finally, Here are some random photos i decided to take.

The first one is the Library with a different Texture Pack.
The second one is one of the many Lounges within the Library. It's got the Round-Things, and it even has a familiar piece of Art hanging on the wall!
And the last one is the Pain in the Ass column-work.

And that's last of the pictures. I'm gonna be taking a break from building the TARDIS for a while, that library took a lot out of me, y'know?
#205 to #204 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (09/08/2015) [-]
My good sir. I must say I'm extremely impressed! This is by far the best TARDIS rendition I've seen in Minecraft. You have a good eye for detail, and it really pays off.

I especially like the white columns, and the neat structure you've built. I didn't even know you could build with half blocks.

The Artsy photo is superb, and I could totally see it in a comic or in a game or something like that, that was an official BBC licensed thing.

I really hope you'll keep adding to your menagerie of TARDIS rooms. But I can definitely understand that you need some time off. You have deserved it immensely.
#206 to #205 - moisture (09/10/2015) [-]
Why thank you, my friend! While not trying to brag here, when i'm done, this TARDIS might be one of the Biggest anyone has ever made in Minecraft. Mostly because i'm going to attempt to add Any and Every room possible Well, as long as it's from the Classic series at least , not just a Console room.

Thanks for the compliment on the Neat Structure, it took me ages just to figure-out how to Build the damn thing.

Oh, and there's more where that came from. Minecraft has a ton of filters built-in as a "Super Secret Feature", with the Artsy filter being just one of them. Others include: The Monochrome filter, The 8-bit filter, The Acid Trip filter, The CRT-TV filter, and much more.
So with that in mind, i'll be able to make The 1st Doctor's Console and Other classic rooms that much better with the B&W filter.

And i might get back to building sooner than i thought, since it seems that i've caught a bad cold, so i'll be Bedridden (or in this case, Computer Ridden) for quite a while.
I think i'll work on the Teletubby Console Room next...
#207 to #206 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (09/11/2015) [-]
Nice dude. I look forward to seeing it all. Especially with the black and white filter.
The 2009 TARDIS is the most Teletubbbies of them all though. I feel like some of the TARDIS's soul withered away with NuWho and their camp coral console. (Ooh, alliteration!)

I'm sorry you are ridden with sickness. Sickness is sadness, as no one ever said. I'm coining that phrase. I've gotten the cold myself. Coughing like a mad man and ruining everything for everyone in class.

So yeah. Oh, btw, just saw Tomb of the Cybermen again. It's so god damn good. You can see so many cheap solutions on the set and I love it.

John Barrowman and Billy Piper, we didnt go see Billy, but John was probably the the best celebrity experience of my life.

It was my second time seeing him, i was with 2 people, my Girlfriend and her God Sister. So we went up to get the autographs then Eve Myles appeared out of nowhere and started dancing with him, we all started dancing along. Then we had a long conversation with him...it was great.

Aw shucks, that sounds like so much fun!
Why are all the cool stuff happening in the Americas...
I'll just hope they'll come to Norway soon, otherwise I'll have to go back home to Britain, and they have no idea how to make a good convention.

I feel super good on your behalf tho. Barowman, Myles and Gillan at the same time! Man oh man!

My waifu wants to build this...Dalek thing

What sort of materials will she need and how much will they cost her?
User avatar #170 to #169 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
I'm glad you asked.
I assume you want the Dalek armour. This is made of polycarbide and Dalekanium.
The asking price for Dalekanium is pretty high, as it doesn't appear naturally on Earth. I'd speak to your local xenohabadashery, and ask for the +package, as this clearly have more miles to it, and is so so much more durable for your exterminating needs.

I'd say £150 should be enough in earth currency. Although I've never gotten the hang of this currency. Perhaps you need £100000. Is that a lot? It's either really much, or really little. The economics are a bit wonky in this century.. Always get it mixed up.
#183 to #170 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
Typical of you

Bending is oppression. Benders think they're entitled to things because they have gotten so use to the Island Turtles gifts.

A world without bending is a peaceful one. A progressive one. An industrial one.

You know Korra? That's adorable. Let me buzz her in here right now and have her take your coat and fetch you some tea. This is what your avatar is good for.
User avatar #184 to #183 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
I do love me some tea tho.
You know what. Just **** this world over. I'm tired of saving it anyway. Let someone else do it. I'm in my prime years still, but damn does Earth keep on getting raped by power crazy tyrants. Tell the survivors I'm not even sorry anymore.

Wait.. Korra is a new one? I only hung out with the bald kid. Shame that about his chemo therapy. At least the blue arrows were helpful for me whenever I needed help to localize his face.
#185 to #184 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
Wrong universe friend. Republic City was built by the bald one and is owned by me.
#186 to #185 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
Well **** . I best be getting back to right one then. Lovely seeing you, friend.
Let's hang out in the future too! Perhaps you will be my companion one day? See the universe, but not ruling it?
User avatar #187 to #186 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
I'm free all the time...I might have to bring Korra with me tho

She whines very loudly if she can't come on adventures

There is room for 3 in the phoonebooth right?
User avatar #188 to #187 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
Splendid. I'm just off to Metebilis III to return a blue crystal, but I can take you and Korra on after that. It should only take a couple of minutes relative time.
User avatar #189 to #188 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
I'll use this time to beat her into focus.
#171 to #170 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
That around $156,030 dollars in american currency. I'm **** at yuro math

Is that all? I throw that **** in my fireplace that's how little that is.

Now then, what's the potential for this armor to end wars more quickly? I hear its supposedly indestructible.
User avatar #172 to #171 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
Yep, it's not that expensive.
The money lies in multiple Daleks. They are very destructible to their own death rays. That's the downside. No mirror should be present at the same time as a Dalek. Other than that, you should be able to wipe out this constellation without problems.
#173 to #172 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
I don't want to build a dalek. I want to use the dalek armor for more constructive purposes.

Can I build tanks with this?
#174 to #173 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
Yes. You sure can!
Your Korra/LesbianKorra reaction pic collection is frightening me
#175 to #174 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
Don't mind the Eskimo Maid we imported her from the South Pole

She has a mouth but usually a back hand to the face shuts her up immediately.

So I can make tanks with this armor...but what about Warships?
#176 to #175 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
It has been done in saucer form, so I guess a warship is viable as well.
I'm unsure about the buoyancy of Dalekanium, but I guess it's as good as steel.
So.. are you planning on annexing anyone cool soon or what?
#177 to #176 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
Ms. Sato builds weapons for a living. Her goal is to create a world populated by Orwellian levels of fear because fear is control.

He who has the most toys wins the game.
User avatar #178 to #177 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
I get it. I like fear. Fear is a superpower. It makes you faster, more perceptive. It pumps adrenaline into your system.
I guess a world run on fear would be great, but I will always stop you. Peace is of the essence, my dear Lady Sato.
#179 to #178 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]
Stay within the realm of your own problems doctor.

Your love for human's bores the **** out of me. Humans are like worker ants always building to serve some sort of purposes no matter how absurd.

This world already has a protector...me. Not Korra. Not you. Not the White Lotus. ME!

Everything from where the sun rises to the sun sets IS MINE
#180 to #179 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/19/2015) [-]
The human race is by far one of the scariest out there. They can wage wars, and build the most devilish of machines in a blink of an eye. Once in a while they need guidance in the right direction, and help in carrying the bright beacon of peace.

Stop your warmongering ideas, or so help me Omega!
#181 to #180 - murrlogic (07/19/2015) [-]

Hmph! I chose to protect this blue pale dot. All the other Time Lords laugh at me for having affections for this planet. It's mine. I've seen it come and go multiple times. I've fought tyrrants left and right, I have literally died multiple times saving you all from destruction. I have become Life, creator of worlds. Fear me!

As for you, young scantily clad woman, I assure you Earth is protected. I might even employ some benders of all the elements, and I even know the current Avatar personally.

Have you seen this **** ?!
For once I'm actually hyped for a Lego game!
Even if it is a Skylanders-esque type of game, this is still bloody amazing.
User avatar #160 to #159 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/09/2015) [-]
Damn son! It looks really cool. I've played the batman lego, and lego city, and both was a dissapointment in my eyes. But the Doctor, Doc Brown, Homer, Gandalf and Portal in the same game! Yes please!
I just saw the trailer too. Third Doctor interior TARDIS! Yes! I'm pretty hyped about this. Michelle Gomez lent her voice too, so perhaps there'll be multiple masters too. Let's hope!
#162 to #160 - moisture (07/09/2015) [-]
And it even has Scooby-doo! I ******* loved Scooby-doo when i was a kid, so this is like a childhood dream come true. And it would be so cool if they put The Master in too, but that would mean that they would have to put in the Burnt Bacon Master too, if he regenerates every time he loses a life Like the Doctor. Oh well, it could be worse, he could be wearing the 6th Doctors outfit.
#164 to #162 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/09/2015) [-]
Burnt Bacon Master.. Keks!
I've learned to like the Technicolor Dreamcoat. Personally I like the blue one better.
User avatar #166 to #164 - moisture (07/09/2015) [-]
Yeah, The Blue one suits Colin much better, but i am starting to like the Coat of Barbie Princess Wishes too. It gives him a very "distinct" flare.
User avatar #167 to #166 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/09/2015) [-]
I agree. The fun part about the audios is that you can tell if it's a young or old version of the Sixth Doctor according to what colour his coat is. He changes is back before he regenerates tho, (I wont tell why), sp that the shows continuity stays put.
#161 to #160 - moisture has deleted their comment [-]
User avatar #163 to #161 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/09/2015) [-]
Oh yeah! I simply adore the Lego doctors. I feel like they chose the wrong outfit for Eight, but it's really not that important. I love how they implemented different attitudes and poses for each Doctor (and Riding a Dalek as a gun!). Scooby Doo was pretty much around much in my childhood too, so hurrah! (The live-action movies are horrible tho).
I think I have to buy a PS4 now. Or does it come on DS and such too?
User avatar #165 to #163 - moisture (07/09/2015) [-]
Looks like it's for PS3, Xbone, Wii U, and PS4. So you don't have to buy a PS4 just yet.
The best Scooby-Doo movie was the one with the Zombie island and the Werewolves and such, but yeah the Live action ones sucked arse.
User avatar #168 to #165 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/09/2015) [-]
I don't have any of those.
I have a PC, 3DS and a PS2. I stopped playing video games on console a long time ago, and have mainly PC'd. I will get that game tho, mark my words.

This is what i'm using for a reference photo.
From the looks of it, it has at least 5 or 6 floors. So it's gonna take some time to finish.

I was gonna do the Bedrooms next like i said, but that was until i realized that i hadn't finished the Library yet.
But anyhow, I can't wait to see what it will look like when i'm done!
Jon & Dan are best grumps
User avatar #148 to #147 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (06/29/2015) [-]
Ah, I see. Good reference photo.
The important thing is that you have fun, and that you are happy with the results.
I look forward to see it once it's done! : D

I like Dan, Barry and Jon. (Arin and Ross second tier) **** Suzy.
User avatar #149 to #148 - moisture (06/29/2015) [-]
Yeah, Minecraft is a good stress reliever. Become one with the blocks, Breath as if you were a block... Block is love, Block is life...

But anyways, I agree. Ross kinda gets on my nerves, but at least he's still funny. Suzy is just... ugh... I watch Gum Gramps for Laughs, not views on Gamergate... And the rest of them are usually hilarious
User avatar #150 to #149 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (06/30/2015) [-]
I can see the Zen flowing through you from over here.
Yeah, Ross can be pretty annoying sometimes. I watch the series I enjoy and usually the one offs. I just can't watch anymore Bloodborne. The game is beautiful and all, but damn.. it just hack and slash..
User avatar #151 to #150 - moisture (06/30/2015) [-]
Yeah, i just skip any episodes about games i don't care about. Or games that aren't fun to watch, Or any episode that has Suzy in it...

Oh, and i started the Second floor of the Library, so expect an update sometime soon!
User avatar #152 to #151 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (06/30/2015) [-]
Yeah. Suzy is more of a "regular youtuber" that tries to hard to keep the flow of talk going, not allowing there to be any silent pauses. It drives me nuts.
Looking forward to see the second floor, dood!
#153 to #152 - moisture (06/30/2015) [-]

It was pretty cool. I might buy the rest eventually.

Noice, i might have to make a Big Finish account for that.

Oh, and expect more pics soon, i just did even more work on the Library a few minutes ago
User avatar #158 to #157 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (07/01/2015) [-]

#138 - moisture (05/19/2015) [-]
So i got Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time recently for my Birthday, i've already finished it.
And hot damn it was good!
I figured it would be a good comic to start with, considering i've never read a Doctor Who comic before.
But i figured it would have been a Mashup of stories rather than a Connecting one, it was still amazing though. One thing i didn't expect was the Villain, some random One-off character from the New series that i completely forgot about.

It also could have used more of the Master's incarnations. Like Derek Jacobi or John Simm.
#139 to #138 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/19/2015) [-]
You had a birthday? Congratulations!

Ah yes. I think this story is quite good, and I love the focus on Nine instead of Eleven, which, normally, would have been the case. I like all the stories, but I agree that the villain was **** . I don't remember the Master being central at all, but I see your point. Delgado and Ainsley are the most famous ones though.

Have you read The Forgotten? That's a splendid story too, with a story per Doctor up until the Tenth one. It's a good point to get on board as well.

If I get it to work I can upload them into a DropBox and send you a link to it.
User avatar #140 to #139 - moisture (05/19/2015) [-]
Thank you!

And yeah, the focus on Nine is definitely a breath of fresh air. The villain was so lack-luster and generic though, he could have been replaced by an Auton and nobody would notice.
it would have been more exciting to have the Master and his Previous incarnations mess around with the Doctor and his previous incarnations. Plus, we could have gotten some back-story to the Jacobi Master too.
But like you said, the individual stories are what make it good. There wasn't a single one i didn't like.

And no, i haven't read the Forgotten yet. I have heard of it before, and it sounds like it's pretty good.
So yeah, sure. A dropbox link would be nice
User avatar #141 to #140 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/19/2015) [-]
I'll set one up later, I'm to lazy to do it now, haha.

I've wanted a multi-master story so long. I hope they'll do one.
I've just begun listening to the Dark Eyes seires on audio, and I must say, that the Macqueen master is superb, and he would've sparred off the other just perfectly.
Hopefully it will happen in comic form at least.

Alrighty then, I finally got pics of the TARDIS.

Lets start with the TV Movie Console Room
It hasn't really changed since the last time you saw it.
#124 to #123 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
The next room is a Staircase leading to the Wardrobe.

I took inspiration from the New Series wardrobe and made it a bit simpler.
I Figured the Doctor would like to keep track of all his previous Incarnations' Clothing, so i made a joke, labeling 6th's as "DO NOT OPEN".
#125 to #124 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
And to the Right of the Staircase is the Library.

The first part of it is sort of a "Lounge" area, where i presume the Doctor keeps all the most Useful books.
And next is the actual Library. Which, as you can see, is a work in progress. I'm going to base it of off 11's Library.
#126 to #125 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
Oh, there are also some bland alchemy and Smithy rooms. But nobody cares about them.
#127 to #126 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
If you go down another staircase while in the Wardrobe, you will be lead to the Botanical Dome (With artificial Lighting!)

Not much to say, except that it was a Pain in the ass to build.
#128 to #127 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
If you take a right instead of going to the Wardrobe area, you will be taken to the Classic Console Room.

I intend to work on this one a bit, I need to add Columns, A Hat Stand, and fix the Ceiling up a bit.
#129 to #128 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
Right down the hall from the Classic Console is the newly added Swimming Pool.

I based this one off the classic Tom Baker Pool, it was a huge pain in the ass to make, because it's at an angle for some reason. I think it looks great though.

And that's it so far, I intend to add more rooms branching off of the Wardrobe area.
I still need to add the important stuff like the Cloister room and the Zero Room, but overall it's coming along nicely.
#130 to #129 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/13/2015) [-]
Wow! These are really good! Top Notch! I wish I could live there.
The Classic Console Room might be my favorite. With some columns, and a "scanner" screen, and of course the essential hat stand. Love the 6th Doctor's clothes chest. Are there clothes in them, custom skins or something?
The Eighth Doctor Console Room is really well done too! I've always been a bit weak for books scattered around, and metal frames combined with comfy furniture.
You should add some flasks or bottles of something (if that's possible) to the library. Wasn't some of the books in Elevens Library just some odd looking glass vials?
I also like the mixture of old classic TARDIS with the wood paneling. All in all , superb job! Have a magician clothed GIF in return! Oh. And the pool! I always enjoy a good pool! Hows the chlorine solution?

Well i finished the Classic Console, it still might need a bit of work. But it looks better than before.

This time i based it off of the 5th-7th Doctor's TARDIS with the Scanner Screen built into the wall.
User avatar #134 to #133 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/13/2015) [-]
Oh wow. Nicely done!
The graphics looks so smooth, I love it.
The 5-7th console is my favorite as you probably know.
That hat stand sure looks sturdy. Again, great job.
thefifthdoctor, look what good old Moistey has done! Aren't you proud?
User avatar #131 to #130 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/13/2015) [-]
I forgot about the Dome!
I have no idea how much work you've put into this, but it seems like a lot!
Is this all vanilla game, or do you have custom mods and skins? It looks truly stunning.
Even the cropping of the pictures, and adding them together is work. You truly are a good friend, Moist. Doing all this work and all, you really do deserve a good answer! Keep it up.
#132 to #131 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
Wow! thanks for the support man!

And yes, this is all vanilla game (with a "3D" texture pack). But i might add some Doctor Who mods in the future, so that i can have a sort of Museum with Cybermen heads setting around and all that guff.
The Classic Console might just be my favorite too. I'll work on it next, I might even do a complete overhaul on the walls so that it's more of a Hexagon.
As for the Clothing Chests, they're empty right now. Maybe i could find a Mod for Doctor Who Clothing in the future?
And yeah, it's definitely possible to display Bottles, i don't know how it will look but i'll give it a try.

Again, thanks for all the wonderful complements! It keeps me motivated to do more!
It's nice to know i'm not just doing it for Bragging rights.
User avatar #135 to #132 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/13/2015) [-]
Cool. You could have a room dedicated to old TARDISes, the models used up through the ages. Or perhaps a secondary console room. The TARDIS is the coolest place in the entire franchise.
User avatar #136 to #135 - moisture (05/13/2015) [-]
Yeah, i intend to do the Secondary Console room from Masque of Mandragora. I also intend to do the 1st Doctor's Console Room at some point.
But first things first, i need to finish the Library and then do the Cloister Room.
User avatar #137 to #136 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/13/2015) [-]
Yay. can't wait!
#115 - moisture (05/10/2015) [-]
So after giving up on 8th's TARDIS, i decided to start working on it again. Here's a list of rooms i already put in.

- TV Movie Console room
- Wardrobe
- Library
- Blacksmith Room
- Alchemy Area
- Botanical dome
- Classic Console Room

TO DO:
- Cloister Room
- Secondary Console Room (From Masque of Mandragora)
- Zero Room
- Swimming Pool
- Various Bedrooms
- Other random rooms containing generic stuff

I'm open to suggestions if there's a room that you'd like to be put in.
User avatar #116 to #115 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/10/2015) [-]
Wowza, you've been busy old chap!
I'm pleased to see that you have the classical console room.
Hmm, you kinda have all the rooms I yearn for. I mean, the Zero Room is a must.
I'll have to think about it, but wow again. Great job.
Any chance for pictures from the inside?
User avatar #121 to #116 - moisture (05/11/2015) [-]
I'll take pictures once i've added enough rooms, And fixed the rooms that need fixin'
It shouldn't take too long though, you can expect some pics by Tomorrow at least.
I think i'm gonna do the Swimming Pool next.
User avatar #122 to #121 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (05/11/2015) [-]

User avatar #82 to #81 - moisture (03/04/2015) [-]
EDIT: I'll give you my list in return.
User avatar #83 to #82 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (03/04/2015) [-]
Oh wow. The dreaded list. I'm always changing it, but here I go.

Third Doctor
Sixth Doctor
Twelfth Doctor
Eighth Doctor
Second Doctor
Tenth Doctor
Fourth Doctor
Fifth Doctor
Eleventh Doctor
Seventh Doctor
First Doctor
Ninth Doctor

I don't really like the War Doctor, I guess he's last. But the "Engines of War" book was quite nice though.
The ones on the last places are not bad, I like every Doctor, but I just haven't cared as much about them. I don't like the ninth doctor at all. And that's not just because of the campyness those early reboot episodes had. He's just bad..
User avatar #84 to #83 - moisture (03/04/2015) [-]
Wow, i guess we have similar taste in Doctors.

Third Doctor
Twelfth Doctor
Fourth Doctor
Seventh Doctor
Eighth Doctor
Second Doctor
Sixth Doctor Haven't seen many of his Episodes yet, so he may rise up on the list.
Eleventh Doctor
Fifth Doctor
Ninth Doctor
Tenth Doctor Tennant Fans always hate me for putting him low on the List.
First Doctor
War Doctor

And yes, like you said. There isn't a Doctor i don't like, they're all fantastic.
User avatar #85 to #84 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (03/04/2015) [-]
Wow, yeah. We are pretty similar haha. I think I just like ten so much is because he took over from nine. I'm not a hardcore Tennant fan really.
But you have the best one on top, so thats good enough for me.
I like my top Doctors from different medias though.

Three (TV-series)
Six (Audio Dramas)
Eight (Comics and novels)

And twelve seeing how he tries to channel the third Doctor in his acting!
User avatar #86 to #85 - moisture (03/04/2015) [-]
Ah yes, i've heard the Audio Dramas are quite good, although i haven't listened to any of them. I should probably get to work on that...

And I've read various Comics and Novels ranging from the 4th Doctor to the 11th, and most of them we're pretty damn good. But oddly enough, i haven't read any Comics/Novels about the 8th Doctor, Are there any you would recommend?

And i like Capaldi for his supurb acting of course, but i also like how much he acts like the Classic Doctors. So basically, we like him for the same reason.
User avatar #87 to #86 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (03/04/2015) [-]
Oh yes, you totally should. Six and Seven get so much more justice in those audio dramas. I mean.. declining viewership and lower budget + stupid ass cast and crew and bad time slots for broadcasting episodes in the late eighties really took it's toll on the show and the poor actors who played the Doctor. You probably knew this, but the audio dramas really makes these "unliked" doctors really superb.

It's so hard to find Doctor Who comics. You'd probably enjoy the Marvel Comics about the fourth Doctor, they are torrentable I think. I've not read that many Doctor Who comics to be honest, but I really like the Eighth Doctor as a comic book hero. I'd recommend you to read "The Forgotten" and "Prisoner in Time" They are multi-Doctor stories, and really cool!

I see sven scores high on your list. What episodes do you like best of his tenure? I really like Curse of Fenric. Haven't seen everything of his yet you see.
User avatar #88 to #87 - moisture (03/04/2015) [-]
Well i'll definitely be sure to look in to some of those Audio Dramas then!
And i'll also have to do some research those Comics as well.

As for Seven, he has quite a few stories i would recommend.

Dragonfire is quite notable for introducing Ace, one of my favorite Companions.

Remembrance of The Daleks is also a good one. Notable for being the last Classic story to include The Daleks. The Doctor also returns to the old Scrap yard from "An Unearthly Child"

Silver Nemesis is also the last Classic Appearance of The Cybermen. The story is quite good, and it marks the 150th episode of Doctor Who, it was also the show's 25th anniversary at that time. So this episode is quite special indeed.

Battlefield is one of my favorites, and you would love it. This episode marks the return of The Brigadier, This is also when Seven's stories started getting much Darker. I'm not going to spoil anything else for you, as you should watch it for yourself.

Ghost Light is also one i'm not going to spoil. But it is linked with The Curse of Fenric.

Survival is very notable for being the Last story of the Classic Series (Unless you count the TV Movie) This episode also marks the return of The Master. There's also some Cheetah people. It's a good story, but not as good as some of the Others.

User avatar #89 to #88 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (03/04/2015) [-]
Hmm. Damn.. I gotta get my sven game on. I've heard Ghost Light is really hard to understand, so that just makes me more intrigued. Is Dragonfire the one where he just hangs over the cliff? (Cliffhanger joke here) Ace is really cool in the audios!

My favourite seven story is Dimensions in Time. Am I doing this right?
User avatar #90 to #89 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (03/04/2015) [-]
Seven game*
Thanks for the tips! I'll probably just watch them chronological.

User avatar #61 to #60 - moisture (02/09/2015) [-]
Thank you! And yeah a lot of people were building TARDISes, there was even a whole section dedicated to them.
I'll start working on 8th's TARDIS interior sometime soon, i'm guessing it'll be done around the middle of March.
#62 to #61 - moisture (02/09/2015) [-]
I went back on that Server and pics of all those TARDISes and TARDIS interiors.
User avatar #63 to #62 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (02/10/2015) [-]

User avatar #64 to #63 - moisture (02/10/2015) [-]
Glad to see you're excited! Gives me more motivation to work on it.
8th's TARDIS was always my favorite out of the bunch. Not a big fan of the new series interiors though, To quote the 2nd Doctor "I don't like it." The 12th Doctor's is okay though.
#65 to #64 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (02/10/2015) [-]
Ah yes. I agree. I've always had a crush on the white classic TARDISES. I actually like the look of six and sevens. Capaldi said that he watnes to bring back the classic TARDIS. In that he meant that he want's more gagets and maps and books lying around the TARDIS, just like 4 had. I hope they will go for it more next series.
User avatar #66 to #65 - moisture (02/10/2015) [-]
I would be extremely happy if they bring it back. I did always like those little things laying around, Especially the Coat rack.
If they did bring it back, i wonder if they would make it look like the War Doctor's TARDIS or go full-on Classic.
User avatar #67 to #66 - thethirddoctor ONLINE (02/10/2015) [-]
Yeah.. I too dream of a world where the coat rack gets its return. And the round things, and the pillars. I don't mind the newer ones, but I feel that they lack the "Home-y" feel like the old ones had. I'd imagine they're going to go with something more War Doctorish than go back to the white one. I remeber the Doctor said once in was it the show or in a novel? I can't recall.. but he said.. "I once went 800 years without changing the intrior theme, I guess I forgot." Twelve seems like he's concerned with aesthetics at least. We should start a protest march and walk down the streets of Cardiff with banners saying: We can't stand the lack of Hat Stand.
#68 to #67 - moisture (02/10/2015) [-]
There was an attempt. Coat Rack rhymes better than Hat Stand

My sweet misguided summer child, you do not grasp the reality of nature. Tom Baker merely wore a scarf and stared blankly out into the distance. He was naive and quite frankly a bit mad. I on the other hand, have this pretty cool headset.

He couldn't even lead a thirsty horse to the water if he wanted to.
Leader of Gallifrey.. Bah! What's that? I became a scientific adviser on Sol three. Using my skills and passions to solve problems for the better benefit of the human race. What did he do? Fight off some mummies and giving goons (which are among the working class I must add) diabetes.

Gallifrey never did me any favours.
