I had 2 teachers who didnt treat me like shit, one was a History teacher by the name Mr Wallace, who I think leaned more towards the Right and who hated everyone else in the class because they were noisy and disrespectful mother fuckers, and the other was a music teacher by the name Mr Signor, whom liked me because I was picked on and he used to be a fat kid with a speech impediment who was picked on so he tried to stand up for me from time to time (I am a 130lb 5'8 white atheist male) because growing up I was always the shortest and youngest in all my classes after having been sent up a grade as a little kid... "mentally ready" my ass, kids are monsters to anyone smaller than them! So yes not all teachers are shit, but from my experiences all but 2 either actively harassed me for inheriting the political views of my father, OR completely ignored any mistreatment from other students so long as it was directed at me

Thats really bad dude, I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Yeah, in my experience, art teachers are the worst, the ones in my schools are a bunch of fucking hippies. Humanities (History Geography and RE), closely followed by MFL (languages) are the best though. Most of the shit teachers just stay clear of me now, as I usually shout them down if they try to act like an dick
