- I have a cat, and it is the ******* bane of my existence. …
- Avatar is actually still the highest grossing film of all time…
they mean domestically, and yes, if you count for inflation, ofc the highest grossing films from the fucking 30's would be on top, because it becomes billions.
The reason I didn't like the movie is because it did not feel like a continuation of the story, but more like an alternate universe that collided with Star Wars. or, a universe where Star Wars was a successful franchise and these characters know about the movies but then they realize it was actually real. Even Han Solo I felt like was just a Harrison Ford who still wanted to play Han Solo. I don't know if any of that makes sense.
It might have been a load of uninspired fanboy copout jizz, but it tops all 3 of the garbage fire prequels. At least episode 7 had some marginal entertainment value.
As a movie, it was a good movie, regarding visuals, camera work, soundtrack and stuff
the thing you have problem is is the story and writing, on which i agree, is a total fucking disgrace
I really like the way you phrased that. Because I honestly liked episode 7 but I appear to be one of the few.
It wasn't that bad. I rank it second worst, above Episode II. But while I think II is actively terrible, VII is just really bland and doesn't have anything interesting in it really.
Of course Rogue One makes it look like a fucking masterpiece.
Second worst, above episode 2...making episode 2 the worst? Are you fucking high or are you purposefully ignoring the shitshow that was episode 1?
I think 1 is weird enough to be enjoyable. I think it has the best fight choreo out of all of them, and there are some great set pieces. The writing sucks but I think the acting is fine. I know everyone hated Jake Lloyd as young Anakin but I think he did a passable job.
2 has the worst effects out of all of them, the plot makes far less sense, so much screentime is wasted on one of the worst romances in film, the fights aren't impressive, and all the heroes come off as unlikable and weak.
I think that people went into 2 with really low expectations compared to 1, so that makes it seem better, but I really think it's by far the worst of the series mainly because of the bad acting. Thank god the acting got way better in 3.
V > IV > III > VI > I > VII > II for me.
1 is enjoyable in the way that The Room is enjoyable. That doesn't make it a good movie, nor does it make it anywhere near relevant.
You could delete 1 from the entire series and the rest of the series would not be affected in the slightest.
What, you didn't like Jar Jar Binks?
Besides not liking him, literally nothing that happens in that movie is in any way relevant to what happens in the others. Not one plot point is actually relevant besides adding backstory, and as backstory, it isn't actually important.
I think rouge one woule have been a better movie if they focused on the side characters. . . like literally anyone else in the movie was more interesting than the main girl
Donnie Yen's character was fucking great and I'm pissed that he's wasted in such a shit movie.
The main girl was absolutely the worst. For the record I dislike Rey more than pretty much any other SW protagonist, but she is a million times better than Jin.
The main guy was a good actor but his character made literally no sense. He's fine murdering his friend who helps him so that he doesn't get captured, but suddenly being asked to kill a guy who is quite possibly a traitor makes him rethink his whole life? Bullshit.
Everyone else was unremarkable. I think it's funny that such a diverse SJW-friendly movie made the one Indian guy tech support at the end though.
I genuinely would have enjoyed the movie more if they followed the robot
I hated the robot. You can't have a character that's both overly literal and overly sarcastic. Those are polar opposites.
Alan Tudyk was wasted.
Hated him more than the main lady? Thats a mighty hate
oh no main lady was still way worse for sure, the robot was just disappointing and dumb

The guy was probably drinking because his bitch wife was a whoring cunt and finally had enough and left when she got knocked up and ducked her ass to keep her from pinning someone else's kid on him. I live in the real world and I suspect the most likely things first.
