ok. SO. finally getting close to this girl after a damn year of alone and stuff. We're close.. she's cute and all. She tells me of all these things she has (expensive ass shit) how she basically hasn't recieved a gift under $100 (and that's low balling it). i'm broke as fuck and that's not changing anytime soon. And because we're in the same class for pyschology, we studied together and she (what i thought to be joking) talked about sharing answers on the test. Just shurgged it off as whatever sure, ok. We get to the test and she really asks to share answers. Now, i see Teacher assistants walking around, we have different versions and all.. BUT FUCK. really? Now.. Because I'm in ROTC (a school military program) i have to hold certain values.. and I DO NOT want to be thrown out due to being caught cheating.. Then she cause pissed me for "lying to her"

You just need to cool down for a sec, take some deep breaths or something.

Okay, assuming you've already told her/tried to tell her that you thought it was just a joke and you want to hold certain values now you're in ROTC, there's not really anything you can do, you just need to wait for her to get over it.

As for "getting the girl" as it were, you don't need to worry about buying expensive stuff. Honestly, even if they're used to getting really expensive things for birthdays, christmas, whatever it won't matter. If she's interested in you she'll be glad that you got her something, no matter how much you spent on it.

Anyway, my first point still stands, you just need to cool down and relax for now. Try not to worry about it right now because at this second there's not really anything you can do.
