Whats wrong with Iphones.
They're about the same as any leading Smartphone, and is probably easier to use than most. For instance my Windows phone needs "Zune" to even put any music on it.
Nobody wants Zune.

Well, there's also the fact that Apple deliberately puts out updates after releasing a new version of the phone that slow down the older versions (about 70% sure about this from what I've heard) so people would buy the new version

I know a load of people with Iphone 3's that run great.

And I know a load of people with iPhone 3's who have complained that since updates their iPhones have slowed down considerably, almost to the point of being inoperable. Perhaps it is different from region to region and whether someone jailbreaked their iPhone or not.

The only problem I have with Apple's products are that they're way too expensive. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with them.

i.g. You cannot have a SSD and RAID, let alone SSD RAID.
The Graphics cards supported are not very powerful, and are often required for certain rendering applications.
And like you mention the price to performance ratio is terrible.

Very disappointing, only a class 1 video card on their newest computer.
If they support that in SLI, that would be Okay for the average consumer.

The high end hardware is never supported by apple until it is almost 2years old or more.
I was making some custom workstations for a high end client ($20,000 per WS)
and the video cards required where in the realm of the Quadro 6000 in SLI, apple couldn't support anything close to this powerful.
Not to mention the rest of the specs would have to be crippled to use apple computers.

that's quite an interesting story. it's an all in one computer, what do you expect? I have yet to see one as good, i dont care about price. i'd put windows on it anyways. it's really dumb, feed me your hate, wisdom, etc etc. idc, i love apple products. there's nothing you can say to make me change my mind. yes, building computers is funner/better/cheaper, but i like it for it's portability (one cord, thats it.)

Looking at their history, although this is now a decent GPU, they will stretch out its lifespan much longer than when it becomes obsolete.

I understand the not caring about price, but I have to have my hardware user serviceable, I hate it when a company I call for help tells me something is not user serviceable.
I hate being locked out of my hardware, and just because the OS manufacturer doesn't want to support something, it will not be supported, no matter if the hardware is compatible.
Because really there is no hardware limitation to not supporting RAID SSD, or RAID + SSDs, or writing drivers for every major graphics card. But apple doesn't support it, so it's followers won't get it. How about mSATA caching, PC users have had it for about two years now, apple has no plans to use it.

I could go on and on about things apple chooses never to support, for no other reason than "we don't want to".

But I do understand that these things are far from importance for many users, and they will take just whatever apple hands them, and apple tells them it's good.

But I could never be locked into a virtual, technology box, where my OS manufacturer tells me what I can and cannot have.
Windows is moving in this direction, starting with the "walled garden" found with windows 8,
Once windows seven is obsolete, I will jump to Windows 9, if they have abandoned this idea, otherwise I will move to a only linux environment.
