They have built in subwoofers and their great!
Cord's pretty easy to break though.

I'm currently using Sennheiser HD 428s. The cord isn't very long, but the sound quality is very high for a $100 pair of headphones. (I prefer them over the lousy $300 Beats headphones)
I'm currently saving my money to buy the HD 650s. They cost about $500, but they are completely worth it.
