i think at the end when Elizabeth drowns Booker, its trying to show the death of Booker as a whole because the Booker your playing is at the final understanding of everything he can become. He at that moment is holding all the memories that could be created when he ways he both. So if what i'm thinking is correct, with him having the understanding of both Booker and Comstock he can kill all chance if any of this happening, including Elizabeth being born and basically destroying all of Columbia from reality.

One of the best ways to go, if you're planning to become an officer, is to get an ROTC scholarship. If you want to do a tour as an NCO then feel free to do so, but keep in mind that you'll be making pretty little money as an E-1, and don't quote me on this, but I don't think that your time as an NCO will go toward your pension as an officer.

I recommend going to your local recruiting office really. They'll be able to give you the most information on this kind of stuff. You should also talk to non-recruiter servicemen because recruiters might stretch the truth to entice you. Also, make sure you're clear that you just want info and are not actively seeking to enlist when going to the recruiting office. When I was a freshman in high school I made the mistake of giving a Marine Corp. recruiter my number and 2 years out of high school he's still calling me to see if I'm interested.

The Booker who did not become Comstock (the one you play as) goes to the part right before he is baptized into Comstock, so you are essentially killing Comstock before he is "born" at the baptism.

This kills any future dimensions where Comstock existed and now only leaves the Booker who did not get babtized (if thats what you meant by multiverse)

But comstock got baptized after right after wounded knee, which already happened in booker's (your) plane of reality, so wouldn't it not make a difference whether or not that instance of booker dies?

Not really. All we know is that Simon and Marcy are survivors of the Mushroom war. The Mushroom war has been mentioned several times in the show and it's probably a reference to the mushroom clouds nukes make. The show is supposed to take about 2000 years after the war (which also wiped out all of humanity except for finn)
