The amount of civilian deaths that occurred as a result of the carelessness of the US army exceeds the amount of civilians that Saddam Hussein has killed by so much, that I don't think we even need to discuss this topic.

Why is it okay for a US soldier to kill a civilian and not any other person? I don't give a fuck if you are the most respected soldier on Earth. If you're going to kill an UNARMED CIVILIAN you deserve to be punished severely.

Don't bother replying to me. I'm done talking to you. If you are so blind that you cannot see the evil within this war, you don't deserve to be taken seriously.

AHEM... in 2007, a group of US army officers killed 12 civilians and injured 2 children. They were unarmed, and the officers knew that they were civilians yet they used the fact that two of them were holding cameras as an excuse to engage.

Dude, I don't have to explain it to you... just Google how many Iraqis died in the war.
User avatar #403 - theonlytinman (03/25/2013) [-]
Again, civilian casualties were minimal. They happened and some fairly enraged soldiers decided that they could do what they wanted. Doesn't change what Saddam Hussein did.

lol. Saddam Hussein killed 150 people during his reign. Why, you ask? Because almost every Iraqi leader was assassinated. Saddam Hussein was nearly assassinated by a bunch of Kurds who he knew were a part of a small town. He said that if the assassins did not come out, he would kill every one of the civilians in that town. But because they're pussies, the assassins just didn't want to come out, so he killed everyone in that area as an example.

Iraq is a relatively small country. And what he didn't want was everyone splitting it into many different regions. He united Iraq in a similar way to the way that Joseph Stalin ruled the Soviet Union.

Do you honestly believe that Saddam Hussein killed as many people as you think? The United States killed over 1 million Iraqis... but NOOOOoooo... nobody mentions them!
User avatar #393 - theonlytinman (03/25/2013) [-]
I do like how you conveniently ignored the rest of the reasons I gave, focused on the only one on which you had a leg to stand on, then tried to turn the focus instead onto the fault of Americans. Its a poor debate strategy.
All the same, Saddam Hussein willingly and with full knowledge, murdered the innocents in that town. American doctrine for law of land warfare forbids the killing of whoever is unarmed. There were minimal civilian casualties. Every Iraqi that died by american hands knew what he was dying for, no matter how futile.

Who? Saddam Hussein? I believe he was one of the best leaders that there ever was. He's viewed as a horrible person because of the fact that the media wants it that way so the U.S has an excuse to go to Iraq and sponsor a war for oil. Saddam Hussein kept the union together. He was strong.

We don't need your help. And don't blame other countries for your shitty economy. Your economy sucks because your leaders are fucking retards.

I can't believe this even has to be debated. He was fucking insane.
Between his genocide against the Kurds and his clear inability to hold true to the cease-fire that had been agreed on, there was no choice but to take control of the situation. Then he did nothing but prove to everyone exactly how malevolent his actions were. instead of trying to make peace with the UN, he decided to hide behind his own forces.
Also, Ill blame anyone who is to blame. Yes, our leaders need to try harder to fix our economy. But they wouldnt have to if everyone else had their shit together. Its clear exactly how mislead you are.

Helping you out? Thanks a lot for killing over 1 million Iraqis. We never needed your help in the first place. Your "help" just ruined it. I've been to Iraq and I've seen it with my own eyes. Especially in the slums of Iraq. That's where I saw hundreds of kids in the streets who were helpless.
User avatar #388 - theonlytinman (03/25/2013) [-]
Well maybe next time, you'll just hand over your insane leader instead of making us have to mow down soldiers by the hundreds to get him. Sounds more like a leadership issue than anything.
User avatar #389 - alltimetens (03/25/2013) [-]

User avatar #390 - theonlytinman (03/25/2013) [-]
I can't believe this even has to be debated.
User avatar #391 - alltimetens (03/25/2013) [-]

AHEM... in 2007, a group of US army officers killed 12 civilians and injured 2 children.

User avatar #407 - alltimetens (03/25/2013) [-]

Comment virginity taken! But on another note, you're like the first guy on FJ who says he is religious and doesn't get raped with red thumbs.

Its because I dont cram it down everyone's throat, except like, on previous comment boards. but those are less to try and change minds, and more along the lines of me getting insight on how people see things.

I don't either, but then again I don't ever post on it.
