Dude just watch the subs. That's coming from someone who normally prefers dubbed, but I wanted to watch the whole series so I bit the bullet. It was great.

That's what I did. Watched it all in like 3 days, and loved every minute. It's not popular enough in America that nobody is going to rush to dub it all, it's going to take months before every episode is dubbed.

Make characters with memorable personalities beforehand. Have a few stock personalities just in case your party decides to do a thing. Be flexible and be able to bullshit your way through an encounter you didn't previously set up beforehand. Be willing to go off course, or if you don't want to go off course, make it so the players don't have much of a choice in the matter (Curse, linear dungeon, etc.). Also a good idea is to realize that your party will ALWAYS do something that you never could have possibly prepared for. Your'e going to want to be able to make an encounter quickly. Again this is where stockpiling different encounters with monsters and the like comes in handy. Have a few predrawn "maps" for use. The more stuff you have that you can splice in anywhere in an emergency the better. Also remember that the story always comes before the rules. I.E. if they fall down a pit, you can have them be unconscious in a dungeon and go from there when they should have died from the fall. You can make "supposed to lose" fights where they lose, but are knocked out and taken prisoner (Use sparingly otherwise it gets really fucking old really fucking quickly as one of my DMs learned from my very pissed off rant after the 10th fucking time).

Otherwise, just make sure everyone's having fun and that your encounters utilize the strengths and weaknesses of the party. Don't allow homebrew, for your sake and the sake of everyone else, don't fucking let that shit pass.

Yea, I actually got kicked out of school and had to go through a psych eval cause I had a violent cartoon on my phone as the background. It was with stick figures and I just thought it was funny. Funny thing is I'm a pacifist and don't even kill spiders. I'm the guy that picks them up and puts them outside.

yeah nearly got suspended myself once in High school think freshman year, I was talking about GTA series with some friends at lunch and guess someone from another table picked up on some of it and thought I was planning to kill people or some shit, and got called to the office and everything, if it wasn't for my spotless rep probably would have gotten in an ass load of trouble, but our school was kinda small so the principle and staff all tend to know the students so when I explained the situation to the principle he thankfully believed me and let me go with a warning
