As soon as i can muster up some cash. I have a newer PC, bought it 2.5 years ago, Phenom II with Radeon HD 6850 2Gb DDR 5 6GB ram but first the GPU went bye-bye and a month ago probably the HD too. Thought about fixing it up but decided to save up some money and just buy a new one, and use the RAM and other things that i already have from the old one.

In that case it might be better for you to just fix up your phenom rig. Get a GTX 750 ti, and a 1tb seagate st1000dm003.
Would cost less than $200. Then you can replace parts as you need to. I.E., after its running again, and once you can afford it replace the PSU as soon as possible with a good 500w psu. should be about $50-70. Then replace the mobo+cpu with whatever you can afford at the time. Just be sure that your new cpu is much faster than your current cpu or it won't be worth it.
what cpu is that phenom ii btw?

This one. 6 core, does fine for me since i use the PC for games and modeling/rendering.
How would the GTX 750 compare to HD 6850 in terms of power consumption, since my PSU is like 350W.

A gtx 750 ti uses half the power of an hd 6850, and is pretty much just as powerful.
That cpu should be fine for now, but definitely upgrade it down the road. It's low single thread performance will hold you back in a lot of games. I would suggest an FX-6300 or low end i5. Just to make sure you know, you will have to purchase a new motherboard along with a new processor if you end up getting one.
