No, this whole argument isn't well thought out. Bruce Wayne was thought to have just been a unfortunate casualty when Gotham was turned loose on itself, didn't you notice how the first people targeted were the rich and well-off? Logically, Bruce Wayne, one of the WEALTHIEST men in the world would be high on the top of the list for people to go after. This works in Bruce's favor so that no one draws the connection between the apparent death of both Batman and Bruce, because most people don't know when Bruce would have "died."

Yes, GC was extremely underrated, at least to some of the "broad" gamers I know. Melee was my first Smash game, so I didn't get to see just how great it was compared to the others until many years later. The gamecube is what really got me into gaming. I had had a PS1 before that & played some of the good stuff like Crash Bandicoot & Spyro, but it wasn't until I played Wind Waker & Double Dash on the gamecube that I really started considering myself a gamer. The gamecube has the greatest lineup of "teach-a-kid-how-to-game games," & the unique controller makes learning the ropes super easy.

Ah, I see. Oh, god, I miss Double Dash. By far the best Mario Kart game ever.

I totally agree. I always thought that the Gamecube was highly under-rated, and I thought that Double Dash and Smash Bros Melee were among some of the best games of their time.

By using a mushroom right as it comes down on you? That's what I always did.
#22 - themodyourgod (12/01/2013) [-]
You can also do it by doing a manual speed-boost via drifting. The timing is still really hard, but then it's not contingent upon you holding a mushroom to escape.

So basically bringing in elements of One, Nine and possibly Eight. Yeah. I kind of think he'll be almost revisiting an old role from 1996, which I've always thought was very Doctor-like.

He has some of the more intense looking eyes that I've ever seen. Compared to Matt Smith's boyish, lackadaisical portrayal of the Doctor, I fell like Capaldi is going to be the incarnation that doesn't take shit from anyone. I'd like to see him bring a darker, more dramatic side to his character.

mhm
don't worry
it was still a bloody brilliant episode
not that one would expect much less from Moffat
#69 - themodyourgod (11/25/2013) [-]
I loved it. I think that it would have felt a little more complete if they could have convinced Christopher Eccleston to reprise his role as the Doctor, but it was otherwise fantastic. Also, I think that it would have been monumentally awesome if they had not announced Matt Smith's departure (or Peter Capaldi's entrance for that matter) prior to the airing of the 50th. It would have made the "No sir, all 13!" moment crazy.
