he's saying "may i take your order"

So i looked up uses. But i only see things like "If its in your printer your printer could do this" or "if you have one in your phone you can do this" But nothing really says what you could do if you have one yourself. So could you tell me the uses?

i will give you the things i plan on doing with it
1. store encrypted data on it such as passwords, personal information, bank details, pet names
2. unlock phone using NFC lockscreen apps
3. log into my computer using a usb nfc reader
4. unlock my door which has an electronic deadbolt fitted with a nfc writer
5. store publicly accessible contact info for instant contract creation on android phones

if the antenna is sensitive enough then it can read the NFC meters away. It has been done plenty of times. The first time it was publicly done was about 7 or 8 years ago and a guy drove around with antennas all over his vehicle and he was able to pick up hundreds of NFC chips and read their data in a short drive.

It is totally possible, but expensive as hell to do so someone would really have to go out of their way to target you or you would have to be super unlucky to get hit by someone doing wardriving.

A powerful enough antenna can read it from a few meters away. But someone whom is really trying to go after you could easily put a reader inside a door nob or some other surface that you unsuspectingly touch. Unlikely if you aren't a big target though.

sure a powerful enough antenna can power it up and get it to start spitting out data but you forget that wireless communication is a 2 way street: the antenna can send to the implant and it will respond but the antenna cannot pick it up since the implant only has a very tiny transmit antenna. also i'm kind of dreading the install now, i'm stil going to do it obviously i'm not going to waste $130 i'm just hopping my mom can install it correctly which she should since she deals with syringes and needles every day
