High school/ middle school. i don't feel comfortable with the young ones. middle schoolers are just going to be chemically unbalanced anti-christs and high schoolers wont take me seriously cause of my age.

Be confident. If you don't have confidence, fake it. That's what most kids at that age are lacking, and to have someone who has confidence emanating from them, they'll listen to them. Don't be self conscious, don't be quiet, don't second guess yourself when you speak, and when you speak, speak loudly. Be a nice person, don't be a hard ass, that's stupid as hell and won't get you anywhere when it comes to kids, they're used to it and know that a hard ass still can't do anything, that's why it pays off to be a good person. You won't scare anyone, they have to deal with you for 45 minutes for a month or so and then they never see you again, there's no reason for them to be scared of you, and that works retroactively. However, being a nice person doesn't mean you can't be stern, as I said, be confident and make sure people don't shit on your lessons, make sure the kids actually do their shit, that it isn't going to be 2 weeks of relaxation, but make sure they know they're not in for hell. Teaching is tricky stuff man, and no one wants to find out that they're wasting their time doing something they don't want to do for the rest of their lives. I hope teaching works out well for you, man. It's a noble profession and it takes a lot of balls to get in front of the class and do that shit.
