Sort of like this, I'm swedish so I'm not 100% sure but I've studied the language in school and this is how I was taught.
Pretty much sound it out the best you can, or get a japanese nickname. Doesn't always sound good though, my name is Christina and I was told to write it as "ku-ri-su-chi-i-na", told my friends to call me Kuri instead.
Also, use katakana for writing your name, they're the signs for foreign words that doesn't exist in japanese.
