Also, would you suggest getting the DLC or not wile it's on sale for $20.39 . Does it actually make the game better?

yes yes yes 1000 times yes. Get the DLC pack. I didn't and I totally regretted it and for that price it's totally worth it. I'm buying it now because it's cheaper than buying all of the DLCs separately. Do it, definitely worth the extra quests and shit.

It's a little different but still very similar. There are some extras (like J, lj, dj, tsch) but that won't take long to adapt. I'm gonna pick up Urdu eventually as well, since it uses a similar alphabet to Arabic and is close to Hindi.

I might do Serbian before Polish since it uses Cyrillic and the pronunciation (other than the J, which is just like in German which I already speak) seems fairly similar. Transitioning and all that.

I'm studying polish at the university and the people who have studied russian before, don't think it's thats hard. It seems like that they are pretty familiar.

What is you orginal language?
#578 - iamphoenix (12/22/2013) [-]
English. I went English > German > Russian, with a few years between German and Russian.

It's pretty much the opposite of French in reading difficulty; way too many consonants.
I'd like to learn another Slavic language next year after I get into the advanced-intermediate stage of Russian and I've been thinking about Serbian or Polish.

I'm fluent in Polish (although from not using it it's fading). The more Slavic languages you learn the easier it will be to learn more Slavic languages. Of course I'm inclined to say learn Polish lol

The grammar is less concerning than tonality (unless that's what you meant by accent) and the fucky writing system. I prefer Korean for this reason. Hangul is kind and the grammar is reminiscent of German.
