Korean citizen (07/03/2012) [-] i don't know if you work or not or which country you came from, but where i live the taxes doesn't include social insurance it just adds to it. here you can even choose you don't wanna pay for that... (which not many people knows) i had a carcrash 7 months ago and i was in hospital for 17 days and i had 3 surgeries (my leg, but i still can't walk normally)... i had to pay $1800 for a room with tv and internet a simple visit to my doctor is around $7 and i still don't have to pay for the ambulance you may think it's expensive, but i saved much more for not paying for the "free healthcare" | ||

Korean citizen (07/03/2012) [-] " in my opinion paying for healthcare is ridiculous" you still pay for it every fuckin month... you don't get that part, right? it's not "free" in fact it cost you more than the non-free health care there is no benefit over the non-free. why would you pay for something every month when you could just pay for it when you really need it? the social insurance won't pay you the expensive ones either... you still have to pay if you want proper treatment... #386

Herp derp, you do realise we pay taxes for everything else right? Like you pay for the police dept. even though you may never need them, same goes for the fire dept, road tax... i could go on here. But my point is paying a tax is more beneficial than paying for every visit due to my above reasons. Also you say there is no benefit, did you not read everything I just wrote above? #387
