Also, open minded? I was raised as catholic *knowing* the existence of god and jesus were fact. If I wasn't open minded (that is open to the idea, that it's all just fairy tales) I would still be a catholic.

Give God a chance to enter your heart, he can change lives, you know. And what do you mean prove that God exists? EVERYTHING you see is proof that he exists. We wouldn't be here as people if God didn't create this world for us. We also can't see different colors of the light spectrum, are you going to claim that they don't exist either?

You can't just say the beauty of this world and universe came from nothing. Everything has a beginning and end. If the big bang actually happened, what banged if there wasn't any time or space (or matter) before it all? Face it, there must have been a being that lives outside the laws of all of these in order for it to happen.

Again that's called conjecture. You don't understand astrophysics, therefore god must have done it. And the concept of beauty isn't inherent. The idea of beauty is subjective, not objective. There would be no beauty of the universe or nature without us to witness it.

You believe he is. That doesn't mean he actually exists. And the thing is, modern physicists have a concept of how the universe works. They admit they have a lot to learn. And that's a lot more than what can be said for religious people.

Never lose faith dude. It's very easy to lose it in this world but hard to get it back, and trust me... you need it to get you through some hard times. There's a reason all these science books have "theories" about how this world works. They are theories for a reason, they're scientific guesses. They are proven wrong all the time. God is never wrong though.

Going against the LAW of gravity isn't the same as going against the THEORY of evolution. A "law" is the highest graduated honor any idea can possibly have, not a theory. Evolution is still a theory because we simply don't know that it happens if we can't observe it over millions of years. That's why it will never become a law. Don't try to include every little guess as "fact" by trying to pair it with true science like the law of gravity.

Hate to break it to you but you're wrong. Evolution is actually a fact. There are many living organisms that can be observed evolving right before our eyes, not to mention DNA tests that show we aren't that different that other organisms. A scientific theory is the most worked upon idea in science, it's got so much data and so many different branches of science all agreeing on this one idea that it's super unlikely to be proven wrong. And gravity is a THEORY. We still don't know how it works, other than it does.
