I thought that white girls were caricatured in that movie, while RDJ played a black person in earnest. That being said, I couldn't care less about the way white girls were portrayed, and people should grow a pair and not get offended at either.
No it can't because clearly racism only goes one way and it's the fun and hip thing to do to disenfranchise and attack white people for their color. It's the current year man come on get with it.
For real though I don't see it being a big deal on either side I don't understand why it bugs them so much and why some white people hate themselves so much. It's called acting for a reason after all and it definitely wasn't making fun of the color or have any undertones for saying black is inferior or what have you. People just learn a word and want to use it on whatever offends them which is nearly everything.

Name me an election within your life time where it really hasn't been a lesser of two evils?
I'm still waiting on Jesse The Body Ventura to run for president. He's a little too liberal for me, but he cares.
he said something about how both candidates are bad, quick thumb him up for not falling for the system!
I like how people are thumbing you down but no one has named a single election where this isn't the case.
I hope I can see the day where 50%+ of the people like the president.

No harm in trying, but a few bad apples ruin the bunch. Yes, black lives DO matter, but everyone made it into something it shouldn't be. It is hypocritically saying that other lives don't matter and flipping shit when people say otherwise. BLM is not a movement anymore, it is now just organized racism. It has turned into a massive circlejerk of irresponsibility for one's actions, and to say otherwise will condone you as a racist whitey.
It was originally a cry for help. People being kept down, hunted down, like animals, the media not caring, no one able to really get the word out how it mattered on their own. They needed to draw attention to the shit going on that mass media ignores because it doesn't make them money. So they did.
Unfortunately, when they didn't get the help they needed, dissidents and extremists started taking advantage of that and whipped people into a frenzy, because survival, hatred, and fear are all common human things that will make anyone go all out, no matter their skin color.
But, that said, even with it being organized racism, people are coming down too hard on it. I mean, this country still allows groups like the KKK and WBC, but this massive rise in anti-black sentiment and calls for segregation and declaring all members terrorists and such? We don't hear about that sort of thing for the KKK who are still doing their thing which I can vouch that they are as I've been held at gunpoint by three men in their sheets. Lots of cops and judges and public officials in their ranks, traditionally speaking. WBC is still allowed to spread its filth while under police protection, as well, even using their children as living shields and exposing them to all this hatred - yet it's not considered child abuse or incitement or anything.
People may not want to admit it, but the anti-black vein in this country was always thicker than the other way around. From every generation before, even to today. But because the news generally didn't report on it, people didn't want to think it was still a thing - and when the news DID report on it, people stopped wanting to hear about it because it didn't AFFECT them, so they said it was someone else's problem or wasn't real.
That kind of thing will set off victims who are pleading for help, and turn them violent. You deny a man dying of thirst a drink from your plentiful stores, he WILL attack you to get what he needs. Human nature. Sadly, the extremists have mucked even THAT up, and combined with the actual racists and bigots stirring crap up on the white side of the issue, and the actual racists and bigots stirring crap up on the black side of the issue, everything is turning into a big clusterfuck of people who don't know what the fuck they're talking about and just following however the crowd feels like hating today.

On reddit, /r/blackpeopletwitter turned into /r/bikinibottomtwitter due to all the spongebob themed tweets. And that's pretty much spread into FJ.
