In American Bingo (there is also a British/Australian version)
American = 1-75
British/Australian = 1-90

The B corresponds with the numbers below it and while not necessary most rules (and bingo halls) will require the letter to be said before hand.
Ex: B-14

B = 1-15
I = 16-30
N = 31-45
G = 46-60
O = 61-75

The corresponding letter insures that a BINGO call can not be mistaken for another number as easily and helps to insure cards are less likely to be matching
