Swords do not make that sound, but I appreciate your showmanship. Most swords, I should say. Now, if you're an untrained individual, then yes, a sword will scare you. But if, and this is possible, the attacker is experienced in combat, then your sword will truly do no good. One strong parry/dodge and the blade is stuck in something.

Furthermore, if the invader has a gun, you're uber dead.
