Incase you didn't see my comment, this is a reply to "What are these pictures from?"

Warhammer 40k, a Grimdark universe set in space. Except for the Ork, these pictures are all Space Marines [Adeptus Astartes] serving the Human Empire. A few of the Chapters shown in these images, Black Templars, Grey Knights, Ultramarines, and Space Wolves. I believe one is from the Blood Ravens. The one dressed in all gold, is the Emperor holding a cup [If he weren't a skeleton.]

There's also an Imperial Guardsman Commisar, and Guardsman shown.
It avalible to be played in a few strategy video games, but most of it's fan base is found in the table-top strategy game.
You buy [rather expensive] models of the same allied faction to create an army. You can buy pre-painted models that have the colours of canon chapters and groups, or paint them yourself.
