I don't know

these are like the ones in their 70's and they just do not want to integrate with England. Maybe it's a common thing to do in nepal I don't know

I just find it really annoying how you get some that make no attempt to learn english and get their 5/6 year old children to translate for them

Fair enough, up hear there are surprisingly few minorities. It's actually pretty funny because racism doesn't really exist in Scotland the way it does in the rest of the world because your average scumbag's mentality is "I don't care if you're black just as long as you aren't Catholic/Protestant/English/Rangers supporter/Celtic supporter/etc.

I was at a lecture on fascism a few months back and the genuine conclusion as to why fascism never took hold in Scotland is that we all hated each other too much to gang up on the foreigners.

You won't hear about that on the Visit Scotland adverts.

As a foreigner I have to ask:
What happened to "Bobby", the stereotypical nice british police?
User avatar #139 - thegamegestapo (11/17/2014) [-]
Thatcher happened.

After that people loss faith, trust, and respect for the police which prevented nice people joining up, which meant the police were viewed as even more of a bunch of thugs. The cycle continues.

Thatcher ruined everything.

In the Netherlands teh police are only around if something happens, and if they're on patrol tehy dont have tasers or guns.

User avatar #72 - thegamegestapo (11/16/2014) [-]
I'm Scottish, our police really cracked down on racism because it made us look bad at the Edinburgh festival. Most of them are decent, if a little clueless, bro-tiers.

That being said there's still such thing as "a good kicking" if you ever hit a cop.
