That would be like saying that because a car is on only 10% of the road that 90% is not being used for anything. You are right too, there are parts of your brain that are dedicated to bodily functions that are never not active. | ||

anon (09/24/2015) [-] i watched both and liked both. the first few episodes are very similar but then the story goes two different ways  Brotherhood in my opinion has a more fulfilling story. The (I believe) 2003 series felt like "everything is shit and nobody will be happy." Brotherhood is still depressing, but not to the point of the original. (actual spoiler) the Rose chick from the first episode of boths series gets raped and has a rape baby in the 2003 series. She also loses the ability to talk. There's only one thing in a side story of Brotherhood that I would consider as dark and depressing. It also sticks closer to the source material (since the manga was long completed by the time the show was green lit for development) while the 2003 series wasn't, and overall feels much more coherent. | ||

 And where are these cops coming from? And where is the money to pay for partners to be on patrol instead of covering a wider range individually? There are plenty of places that are struggling to have enough on a force without forcing them into pairs. I'd prefer to have a smaller area policed well, and safely than a larger area that puts the lives of the officers at risk. like I said, its not perfect and has its flaws. something has to be done though. | ||
