I imagine this would work the same way with exp share. good way to find out in a non gen 5 game is how many stat points you gain when leveling. if this is higher than usual is is working

When in Chargestone Cave, do not leave until you get a "Ferroseed." It's Grass/Steel. Meaning it is only weaking to Fire and Fighting. It makes things so easy. Make sure you get it on your team.
