Went and did a little research and it seems that they did in fact have 2 national flags. The swatstika and the red, white, and black tricolor. I'll chalk that up as a point for the both of us, and the post for that matter.

Actually, from 1933 to the end of the war that was Germany's sate flag. So it's correct in the content.

wrong again the flag belonged to the National Socialist German Workers' Party or Nazi party which again resided in Germany but history will state that Germany did not have an official flag during this time since the flag during the Weimar Republic became unofficial. sorry
