> M-Muh third person view

Smite is easily one of the worst MOBAs out there. with DOTA and LoL running the show
#248 - thecrayzeeman (01/04/2016) [-]
It's not about third person, although that did help drag me in originally, it's because the gameplay is much faster paced. Same with HotS.

Dota 2 is a little slow in the beginning but gets more and more intense as the game progresses. and the teamfights can be quite fun, provided nobody snowballed.

Every time I try LoL it just feels, I don't know, slow and boring compared to other MOBAs. Everyone just towerhugs until someone stumbles over and the other team snowballs and wins.

I plan to get it, but i'm getting it on PS3 since for some reason this PC wont run DS1 when it's more than capable. I'm assuming its because I have windows 10. But with that being said, the other reason is because I started DS1 on my PS3, and I promised a friend I'd play DS2 with him as well.
#249 - thecrayzeeman (01/04/2016) [-]
Get the DLC's too. Completely worth it.

Started NG+ today, it's a lot more ambush happy, feels a little cheap. Not to mention an unhealthy amount of red npc phantoms. Nothing magic can't take care of but still.

I already beat DS1 about 50 ((literal)) times over. I even made a personal build if you want?
#78 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
Nah I'm good, but damn, 50 times.

I'm on my second run through DS1, tried a Sorcerer, started facerolling everything, managed to beat Ornie & Smough on first try, with minimal kiting. Stopped there because I got DS2, and because I'm figuring out where to go next. Probably gonna go kill Bed of Chaos since it's a cunt to deal with and I wanna get it over with.

I'm kinda glad they nerfed sorcery early game in DS2, even though some bosses were annoying to get through because of it.

*cough cough sol cough*

but in all seriousness though, it does give us a good chance to see, as the player, what the god can be like at their full potential/OP MOTD's. Any hopes for what Skadi is gonna be like? she's PRETTY much confirmed the god of Skiing as far as we know.
#51 - falgabird (01/02/2016) [-]
LEMME STOP YOU RIGHT THERE:

Ullr is the God of Skiing.

Skadi is a Giantess/Goddess whom was once married to the Vanir God Njord, God of the Sea. Their marriage failed, as Skadi missed the mountainous region, and her husband would not leave the sea shore. So if ANYTHING, she is more associated with mountains than anything, though she was, even in lore, a fantastic hunter.

true, how about skadi? any hype for her?

also weebs will be incoming.
#46 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
I'm always hyped for new gods coming to Smite.

Problem is they're usually heavily unbalanced, and tend to stay so for way too long.
User avatar
#48 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]

User avatar
#54 - falgabird (01/02/2016) [-]
Also through datamining we know she may have 1: a pet that can attack with her much like Zhong Kui's scrolls 2: a shit ton of ground targetting and 3: a dash. Also she'll likely be a hunter.
#55 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
shit that doesn't sound too bad.
#50 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
My guess is a hunter with way too many slows (goddess of winter and all), and possibly a Ymir freeze-like stun.

But then again, I imagined Loki being a sneaky mage with a lot of tricks, and look what happened.
User avatar
#53 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
>#51 corrected me on what skadi really is, so nevermind my previous comment about her being the goddess of skiing. But that does sound like something Skadi may have for a kit.
#56 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
That's what I'm afraid of.

I mean, look at Ymir, he's already a powerhouse if built right. Hell, even with a standard Tank build he can pack a punch.

Now imagine a hunter with his kit. It'd basically be Ymir before the physical/magical gear split, except now ranged.
#57 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
please no, i already have a shit time with people like rama and fucking khepri on my ass when i play a mage, i dont need this.

Welcome to Smite, where Hi Rez hates you.

Although, I gotta admit, some of the recent patches we're pretty good. And they didn't buff AMC for the 535543643'rd time.

#59 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
Oh of course. By the way, did you manage to finish the odyssey?
#61 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
Nope. Don't have the cash, and it's quite expensive.

Managed to pick up the Khepri and Inukii announcer packs though, which I love (although the Swagni announcer pack is still my favourite).

And finished the Season 2 fantasy ticket a few of months ago. Currently sitting at around 18k Fantasy Points.
User avatar
#62 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
dang, well you got to get the fantasy ticket completed
#63 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
It was a long, hard and annoying road, but yeah, was so relieved when I got the frame. Toned down the playing after that, now I log on every once in a while, play a little until I start getting annoyed, quit and go play something else.

Would probably play more, but my friend got Dark Souls 2, and gifted me a copy, so we kinda played that all day every day since Christmas.

#65 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
awesome dude, hope you've been having fun with it.
#66 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
As much fun as one can have being constantly dunked on by bosses, but managed to get some decent upgrades recently which made it easier.
User avatar
#67 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
Nice, i've been wanting Dark Souls 2 for awhile now, never had the chance of course.
#70 - thecrayzeeman (01/02/2016) [-]
I'd recommend trying out 1 first, to get a feel for the game. Plus the best bossfight in any game I've played so far. (pic related)

However, you may find DS2 a little underwhelming after it.
User avatar
#71 - gladiacelt (01/02/2016) [-]
