Every year on my birthday and Christmas for, for the last few years, my dad has been getting me the super nicely bound compilation volumes, I'm up to vol. 4 now, which ends shortly after the kindly ones.
User avatar #43 - slandersalamander (02/11/2014) [-]
I've got volume 1 of that series, as a recent purchase. What a fantastic edition.
#44 - thecommittee (02/11/2014) [-]
The best part is that they recently started publishing new ones, I'm stupidly exited to start on those next year after I get volume five.
User avatar #45 - slandersalamander (02/11/2014) [-]
I've been planning on getting some more of them since I got the first.
#46 - thecommittee (02/11/2014) [-]
A hundred percent worth It, they just keep getting better and better, but my personal favorite so far is volume three.

Yes, I agree fully. The more shopped pictures on the internet, the better.
But only if you don't talk like that ever again.

Yes it is free, but you still need to buy a PC to use Steam. That's comparable to buying an Xbox One before being able to use the now non existent Xbox DRM.

Granted, I don't know enough (or anything) about the AAA thing you brought up. But remember that the original Xbox DRM was going to leave a majority of the DRM policy making to each publisher.
#285 - thecommittee (09/12/2013) [-]
The thing is allot of people already have a PC. In addition I believe we where comparing the hyper DRM'ed Xbone to current steam, not the new, slightly better, Xbone. In which case, weather or not DRM's where left up to publishers there would ahve still been the always online thing, but this discussion was awhile ago and I don't feel like reading it over again.

Don't know why your above comment got thumbed down - i'll thumb it to level the playing field ^_^

i guess that's the problem with having a serious conversation, on a joke oriented site. It's like the how sarcasm doesn't translate over the internet XD

Exccccuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuussssssseeee MEEEEEE !!! Hi, sarcasm on the internet or any written form relies on special punctuation and liberal use of capitals and astrisk * and so on. Such as speaking in dialect, thus : Hi ya'll, 'ows it 'angin' ..... (or) if you want to say sarcastically that your friend just did something outrageous, you put: "O NO U DIN'T" ore to say Congrats sarcastically would be "conGRATz" with the capitals serving as emphasis markers. Thus, "I am SOOOO glad it was you that won" or "yeah, you're the WIENER" instead of Winner, also works well for sarcasm expresion. I'm REALLY glad you got me involved in this question, lol. Now fak off. * kiss indicating joke, also works.

Then I would posit that one's morality is a self-determined thing, no matter what a book might tell you to believe. Ever since Christianity (and in fact, probably all religions) became a widespread phenomenon, people have been ignoring or reinterpreting the teachings of their forebears to fit what THEY thought was proper. Interracial marriage, tattoos, modern grooming, -wearing clothes of two different materials-, all eventually became widely accepted in spite of the Bible, not because of its teachings.

We humans determine what is right and wrong through consensus and compromise, not an old book.
#84 - thecommittee (08/17/2013) [-]
I cant tell if that was agreeing with me or not. because I am saying that people will chose to interpret the bible on an individual basis. We humans determine things not only by ourselves but based off of external stimuli and ideas.

User avatar #166 - wtfduud (08/17/2013) [-]
The problem is that anyone could have made that. Despite how pretty it looks, it's just random colors splashed across a painting.
User avatar #213 - wtfduud (08/18/2013) [-]
That is true, but if you've ever tried painting random colors in a random pattern on paper and then drenching it in water before the paint is dry, it will look similar to the picture in question.
#211 - thecommittee (08/18/2013) [-]
Not really. The colors flow well and the shapes create an illusion of motion. Sure anyone could just splash some colors on a canvas, but it wont have the same intent as this particular picture; It would probably look like a Jackson Pollock, aka Jack the dripper.

looks like something that a typical white american family that live in a suburbs would have on their wall in the living room
#69 - thecommittee (08/17/2013) [-]
I think I just have painting of cabbages in my house, so there is no real perspective on my part. Also, just because it fulfills a certain cliche, that dose not mean I cant think that it looks flipping awesome.
User avatar #71 - urfunnyman (08/17/2013) [-]
