Then she turned to me and the other guy and said "And you two. You're lazy, you keep making excuses, you haven't actually done your homework at home in months and you try to slip out of everything. They hold our hands through school, and then just kick us into the real world. They don't even tell us how it is. Things they didn't teach me in school: How to write a check How to pay rent/buy a house How to manage a bank account At least your teacher was straight up with you, even if she was wrong. I've never had a teacher tell me "You're fucking up, this isn't good" They just have to use encouragement and make every child feel special.... #50

thechosentroll (04/20/2013) [-] Basically, whenever I get bored I like to analyze funnyjunk. I've noticed some very interesting patterns in the funnyjunker behavior. I've already found out how to manipulate them into thumbing my comments down or my content up(one of the reasons 80% of my shit makes it to the frontpage), but that got boring after a while. Now I'm trying to break down their behavior when dealing with spam. I already tested it on the boards, but each of them reacted differently. The brony board thumbed me both up and down, the random board joined in the spam and the item board got butthurt, started pretending they don't give a shit and then started begging fаgmin to ban me. Since the reactions were so varied, I couldn't make out a common pattern, so I'm spamming on content. I'm spamming the FUCK out of it so I can get a large enough sample.
After several hours of dealing with the angry mob I can safely say that I've managed to break down the way funnyjunkers argue into its' basic components and now understand it waaaaaaay better. It's gonna come in handy when arguing with morons.

I imagine the pattern on the boards would depend entirely on the board. Random is by nature spammy, brony can be a toss up I imagine (I'm not there often), and from my limited experience the items board is prone to see everything as thumb-whoring.
