You are right, but that is the consequence of having that kind of power you have. People will whine regardless, tell them to go fuck themselves. The US keeps other countries intact, like it or not.
Of course, it does not mean the US should be above the law. I'd like to see Bill Clinton tried for war crimes over the bombing of the Sudan and Henry Kissinger for propping up Saddam and assassinating democratically elected leaders around the world, but that does not mean the US cannot do the right.
If the US withdrew its forces, bases and reversed back into isolationism, you'd quickly see Russia soar over Europe and reclaiming its Soviet possessions, China would pressure Japan, South Korea and Vietnam, stealing their territories and fishing quotas. The Middle East, don't get me started. Saudi Arabia would invade the Arab Sunni regions which borders it, Iran would take its claim of western Afghanistan and eastern Iraq, Assad and Iran would arm Hezbollah more than ever and destroy both Lebanon and Israel-Palestine.
For all of your faults, Vietnam, Panama, Nicaragua, Libya, your mere presence and assertion of Western values stops the world from boiling over. I'd choose the US as the predominant power any day.

This is strange, I have never met a European who has something positive to say about the States. Usually it is some sort of anti-american hate speech I see, and you do make valid points. However, we are having a lot of internal issues of our own right now and seem to be preoccupied with other things outside of the nation. Our current leader is an idiot who seems to prefer helping everyone but his people. He sorta is but most of the points aren't real arguments, 1. being a furry doesnt work as a argument in this context for being a furry has nothing to do with the game, 3. the Nintendo principle can be applied here where just b/c it isn't hyper violent doesn't mean its a bad game, 4. the pixel art works for the games world and is better then most indie games using pixel graphics, 5. mains character being a pre-existing thing can be seen as lazy as one could say they didn't feel like making there own character though i myself don't mind such things its still doesn't work that well as an argument 6. shows he has no knowledge on one of the topics to make a fair comparison, 7. there's many memes in both of them both normal memes and internet memes, 8. refer to 3.

look he can have his opinion but i want to a good argument about why one is better then the other with out the bias of memes and actions of fans

Undertale is one of the easiest fucking games I've ever played in my life. While that isn't necessarily a bad thing, it was so easy that I got almost no enjoyment out of playing it. I've fallen asleep while playing video games, but never because I was so bored out of my mind by the shit story."Bad game" I got more enjoyment out of fucking iSpy as a kid than I would have Undertale.

Even a fucking flash game is more exciting than this queer shit, its all about the rule 34 man and they wont acept it.

Music is good, but not great and thats it.

Characters are fucking steriotypes and its made so ffaggs and queers feel good about themself.

the whole fandom s supported by furrys and queers, thats all you need to know, fucking losers how can you suck at playing videogames too? ffs

I am the most anti-SJW person you'll ever meet who isn't an actual sexist racist and I still THOROUGHLY enjoyed Undertale. Doesn't take very long to beat, has excellent music, and the gameplay is simple but still occasionally challenging. I get the feeling that the people hating the game's "easy difficulty" only played up to the first boss or something. I will say the pixel art is mediocre, but it's still easy to look at and the music will make you not care. There are interesting characters, and even though there are gay relationships in the game (although I can only think of 2) they don't feel forced down your throat for the sake of being progressive and one of them is introduced in a way that actually had me laughing. I would definitely recommend the game.

If it wasn't posted about as much, then it would just be a game people liked, but people started seeing it too much, then for someone it just snapped, it almost became cancer over night. a big factor was the sjws latching to the game so they can shove their "down with cis" "sans is actually an asexual transgender muslim female" bullshit in it.
#369 - vvthegreats (19 hours ago) [-]
Or they finally realized the truth.
User avatar
#371 - thejusticar (19 hours ago) [-]
No, they started seeing it too much, it happens with every fandom. it gets a shit ton of posts, some people get tired of seeing it, they start to hate the posts, then everyone has to hate the posts. then they circlejerk over hating it for a while, until a new thing comes out and then the cycle repeats.
#374 - vvthegreats (19 hours ago) [-]
As fast as Undertale? Hell, not even One Punch Man was able to pull that off and EVERYONE is posting that.

Point: If something is legitimately good, despite how much it is posted/hated, it will still be good.

IMO
#232 - anon (21 hours ago) [-]
There was a hate-movement for it the moment the first UT-related post was made. You underestimate how fucking retarded FJ's majority userbase is. If they don't personally like it, they keep posting about how it's autism or cancer until everyone else falls in line and does the same.

#33 - anon (01/13/2016) [-]
eh this is a discussion ive had with a friend of mine before, he plays games for the challenge i play games for the story, games like the souls series have a perfect amazing balance of the two so we both love that one. but my point is its completely understandable that for you this game seems boring, though i have only seen gameplay from undertale to me it seems a lot harder in a genocide run but my complaint about that is that you have to litterally grind, but maybe that would be a good challenge (dunno what run you did). i personally enjoyed the story however i wont deny that it was a simple one. now at the end of my rant a conclusion, some people like chalenging games some people like stories, some people like one type of story where others dont, and its all fine

Being someone who hasn't played neither of both games, I wanted to see if the fans of both games would come forward and start "serious" discussions as if games with toxic fanbases could be the subject of serious discussions :^)
User avatar
#214 - djmaryhikineet (22 hours ago) [-]
i too would like a discussion but as shown by 40 red thumbs i got its clear the anti-fans is far more toxic then either group combined. we tend to blame just fan bases for these problems but half the reasons fan bases get so defensive is b/c so many people just hate on something without real reason other then bandwagon the hate, that those who do want to talk about it cant as both sides will either labeled as just another hater/lover by the fans/anti-fans as they're so use to the other party, that they just attack anyone as a precaution.
