Undertale is one of the easiest fucking games I've ever played in my life. While that isn't necessarily a bad thing, it was so easy that I got almost no enjoyment out of playing it. I've fallen asleep while playing video games, but never because I was so bored out of my mind by the shit story."Bad game" I got more enjoyment out of fucking iSpy as a kid than I would have Undertale.

I am the most anti-SJW person you'll ever meet who isn't an actual sexist racist and I still THOROUGHLY enjoyed Undertale. Doesn't take very long to beat, has excellent music, and the gameplay is simple but still occasionally challenging. I get the feeling that the people hating the game's "easy difficulty" only played up to the first boss or something. I will say the pixel art is mediocre, but it's still easy to look at and the music will make you not care. There are interesting characters, and even though there are gay relationships in the game (although I can only think of 2) they don't feel forced down your throat for the sake of being progressive and one of them is introduced in a way that actually had me laughing. I would definitely recommend the game.

Being someone who hasn't played neither of both games, I wanted to see if the fans of both games would come forward and start "serious" discussions as if games with toxic fanbases could be the subject of serious discussions :^)

i too would like a discussion but as shown by 40 red thumbs i got its clear the anti-fans is far more toxic then either group combined. we tend to blame just fan bases for these problems but half the reasons fan bases get so defensive is b/c so many people just hate on something without real reason other then bandwagon the hate, that those who do want to talk about it cant as both sides will either labeled as just another hater/lover by the fans/anti-fans as they're so use to the other party, that they just attack anyone as a precaution.
