Do you have any idea how easy it would be in america for the citizens to beat the government. You have a huge population over a wide area, there's no way it could be done.

Yes, because the U.S. military has not found a way to handle large groups of enemies. You know all those tanks, bombs, jets, etc. that they have and civis don't. Most KDR for the U.S. military is something along the lines of 30 to 1

If the govt. were to declare marshal law today and gave orders for the military to march on the states to instate it the best most people would have to against that is small arms. Yes, it is highly unlikely but if it were to ever happen that virtually means we would be no more effective than some rebels.

Ummm, sure they did hell we had repeating weapons even in those days, and damn straight they would want us to have SAMs. The 2nd amendment does apply to hunting and defending yourself from the local highway man, but also the govt. should they ever need their shit slapped again and to have the BEST protection available.

I'm talking about the version of the game that everyone remember, bloody casual RS3 scrub.

Having played both versions a fuckton, the game is better nowadays than it ever was.
How anyone could stand some pixelated polygonal piece of shit where every sound effect is just some sort of 16-bit squeak or honk is beyond me. I don't even know how I could stand it 10+ years ago.

2007 RS was comparatively shit and anyone who says otherwise is blinded by nostalgia.

Opinions m8
I don't care which one you think is better, RS2 is the one everyone remembers. Dissing the graphic and sound limitations of a browser based java game made in 2004 doesn't make your point relevant.
#21 - anon (12/21/2015) [-]
Well then. Lets list all of the scammin, glitching and bugging along with having less bosses than rs3

less content
less quests
less activities
less dnd's
no prifdidnas

''hurr durr eoc ruined pking''
no. you now for once need skill and reactiontime to pk but thats beyond you right?

07scape is not better than rs3 it is actually shittier by a fuckton. now if you do it for nostalgia then go ahead but dont shit on the game you once loved and the game that people still love.

>dont shit of the game that people love
>07scape is not better than rs3 it is actually shittier by a fuckton
except this is an exception. im right.
User avatar
#23 - adu (12/21/2015) [-]
I reiterate.
OPINIONS M8

And like I said, RS2 is the one everyone remembers, the time RS had its peak population. By the time RS3 came around, everyone grew up and discovered better games. Why was RS2 good? Because I was 10, it was free, didn't need a download or email, and all my friends were playing it. Why is RS3 shit? Because I'm god damn 22, all my friends quit RS for better games once they could pay for them, and RS3 doesn't hold up graphically or content-wise compared to almost any other MMO out there. Nostalgia and charm are the only reasons I OCCASIONALLY play OldSchool.

RS2 is what people remember.

Well, if they get fake working papers they can still get a job, that's not much of a hurdle compared to everything else. At least their employer reports their income to the IRS and pays payroll taxes (the employer's portion of unemployment, social security, Medicaid, etc) as well as the individual's taxes. So at least some/more of them are paying their taxes.

The legal immigration system is backed up. It could take years, even up to a decade, to be approved or rejected. When your government is controlled by one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the world and your family is starving, that might be too much time. Mexico has a serious problem with violence and cartels that needs to be addressed with any immigration reform. Our war on drugs has not helped in this matter.

Often they have to pay a decent chunk of money to coyotes to get across the border, and even then they might wind up getting trafficked and forced to work illegally. Going over the border illegally is quite expensive and dangerous, but they still do it. I don't think putting up the Great Wall of Trump is going to completely stem the tide, or be worth the cost in the long run.

technically if they buy anything then they'd pay sales tax, so there's that.
#24 - failflyer (12/20/2015) [-]
Because the IRS doesn't give a fuck. Seriously, the threw fucking Al Capone in jail because he didn't pay taxes on his illegal activities. They don't care where it came from as long as Uncle Sam gets his share.

The only problem with this is the a fore mentioned tax credits/free money.

One of the problems is that employers that are paying them under the table. That one is easier to solve than stopping the flow of millions of people or actually fixing Mexico so they won't need/want to leave in the first place.

I don't know of any actual data that shows what percentage of illegals are getting paid under the table, but some of them aren't.
User avatar
#27 - thebluedream (12/20/2015) [-]
So what you are saying is that would be easier to punish companies for hiring the illegals so they can't get jobs thus they wont have a desire to come here or become legal and join society like normal?
#29 - failflyer (12/20/2015) [-]
