The books are nearly exactly like the anime. The first and second season follows the first, second, third, and fifth book and skips the fourth. It actually follows it so closely that when I began reading I would've sworn that I had read a passage or a paragraph before but it turned out to just be that the anime shows the emotions the writer portrayed really well. The anime is worth a look as well, I think, just because you can see Holo and Lawrence interact and the music is nice, but that's your choice. The books are definitely worth the read. I've heard great things about the ending, and there are seventeen in the series so it's a world to be a part of for a long time. #257 -
