Muffins gave up FJ 'cause he doesn't have time. He sent a PM 'round.
I don't know how to do that. Here it is.
So, announce and stuff and stuff.
Due to current life situations I've decided to take a break from funnyjunk, and decided put myself a barrier in order to actually take that break, by locking my account and blocking the site from the navigator. Why even? I need to center my head and concentration in other priorities and also just want to kill my free time in other hobbies, like watch TV or play the bass instead of be on a forum that it's turning more into an habit than the actual enjoyment of it.
Now I gotta admit that these are the typical edgy messages and all but there are users who actually mind about my face being around, and I don't want to be the party pooper but to go and take a break without tell anyone I think that'd be rude for the ones who care, so yep I told you all.
I'm sorry if I dissapoint anyone but I feel it's the best for me atm. This is no ******* suicide or anything it's more like a hiatus.
...okay that'd be. If you read this remember that you are a beautiful person, a human being and a real hero.
plz no copypasta

I hope he'll be happy. He did have like 60,000 comments so if he feels that he's spending too much of his life here then good for him.
I talked to him twice on skype since. I'd give it to you, but he asked me like 10 times to not give it to anyone so I don't know if I have that kind of freedom with his personal info.

my sister might start teaching french next week, to 10-11 y/o kids. Do you have any advice I can give her?
Uh, yeah, prepare your classes down to the examples, because improvising leads to some dumb moments. Otherwise, not really. Uh, try and make it so no student develops a crush on you?
Have you replaced me with a cute boy

I was never really into it. I'm really into a lot of things in its periphery, namely games, the art style and the intro and outro songs, so I'm somewhat in the know, but it never managed to draw me in. My sister is really into it, so I have watched a few with her, not Rozen Maiden though.
Now, now, I'm sure you're quite the looker. You're trying to get with me, honey, give yourself some credit.

Well there's nothing wrong with that, like what you like. She a teen or something? I admit I got into it when younger too, no idea why that happens like that but it just does. I need them dresses, I need them
I'm good enough, that's the sum of it but my selling point is my peculiar personality. But aw so much confidence, how cutie patootie! Don't make me eat you up now.

I keep weird schedules, dear.
So, uh, let's see... it's pretty much in my profile, but I can elaborate. I'm into music, very deeply, pretty much any genre. I play several instruments and write my own pieces, currently in the process of learning how to do quality recordings. I'm into literature as well, I haven't as much time for reading as of late, but I did read a lot in my youth and I try to write at least five pages a day. Mostly of short stories, since they're as good a way as any to keep my prose from going stale. Aside from that... well I play a lot of videogames, when I can make the time, anyway, and I spend a lot of time upgrading or otherwise givint maintenance to my motorcycle.
So now it's your turn: who's the guy come to try and sweep me off my feet out of the blue?

I kinda know the feeling, I was just teasing tho so don't take any heed.
I like to look for all sorts of offbeat music and stuff myself, been fascinated with Industrial and Ambient for years which are my favorite genres. "Anti-music" makes things really interesting, even if the term doesn't make any sense. I've lost a lot of my own gumption to write, but hey I might want to see some of your stuff if you'd like to share.
I could use a motorbike myself, but all my spare money goes elsewhere so eh.
Wasn't my intention, but I'm not minding seeing a bit more so hey why not? I'm pretty damn complicated honestly, but in the most short and sweet words I can muster about myself I'm just a fairly sullen individual and occasional looneybin with deep loves of oddities, nature, and all that goes along with it. I love reading but predominately nonfiction related things are what grab me, I always like to absorb more knowledge to sate my curiosity. Pretty passionate in every sense of the word and especially beliefs which isn't a selling point to some but hey **** it I'm my own person and nobody can stop me from being who I am. Quiet yet loud, reserved yet explosive, I'm all over the place in all senses except what I can name.
Hobby might as well be flirtation by this point, but I've yet to find one person that's totally drawn my interest. At least recently you dig?

I like ambient, well, I lime some ambient a lot but I've never found the time and place to listen to it in a way that lets me appreciate sans just staring at nothing and concentrating on it. But that doesn't really work for me, so I could never get into it as deep as I'd like.
Sure, here: soundcloud.com/a-walker-walker The last three tracks are a bit more experimental, nothing too crazy, but they were halloween tracks, so. Most other are just stuff I jotted down quickly, mostly for the sake of testing production than to record actual music. "At London", "Ought to" and "Not Riding Tonight" were fully composed and arranged pieces I had prior to recording, and I really like how "Dyed Hair" turnt out, so I consider it a full piece even though I wrote it in 20 minutes.
Well, so are we all, right? But I'm sure we can get along. I did read a lot of non-fiction as well back in the day, but like I said, with less time I've had to prioritise time and I have been reading way less of it. I don't know how I would describe myself... I wouldn't say I'm a very passionate person, but I'm very stubborn. Strong conviction, I guess would be. Could be constructed as passionate, I suppose, but I don't burn like that, I'm just very steadfast on my course. That's more or less what I could say of me without painting a somewhat inaccurate painting.
Well, then I guess we have an interest in common.

It's worth investing some time into, they are indeed less music as much as its an experience to partake in. Emotionally, spiritually, even kind of physically at times since even such limited noise really can be pretty deep, not to sound like a pretentious bastard about it. Eh, its pretty cool to see you experiment with it all. I've meant to get around to doing stuff with a friend and even just **** around in audacity but I've lacked the focus to really get anything done. But hey, the sounds came out nice and are neat. Keep going with it.
I'm pretty laid back really. Well I respect strong conviction! Without any, is there really anything to live for? Besides its not a particularly attractive trait of a mate. Well don't be afraid to say whatever because it takes some time to turn me off when I'm curious. Paint it all you want.
I also like things that are sharp and go bang. A lot. So there's that.

Things that are sharp and go bang?
Also, if you let me take a left turn. What do you like about that character you keep using? Suigintou, isn't it? I remember my sister liked her a lot, but I never did ask why, so I'm just curious.

I can't help I like to have fun. Oh it takes quite a lot to stop me once I'm in motion.
Knives, Guns, Bows, Explosives, etc. Fascinates me to the core.
That it is, she's adorable as **** . Gothic Lolita is also so enchanting. I also just feel bad for her since she's an underdog and I have a soft spot for sadists that are hurt.

Oh, I'm counting on that, sweet thing. Are you planning to bank on these claims any time soon or are you just planning to quit while you're ahead, because let me tell you: you're well ahead.
I can't say I share that, they make me uncomfortable if I'm honest.
Well, that's as good an explanation as any I suppose. Can't say it gives me a great insight on what she liked her so much, but it makes sense. That's some great sense of fashion, too.

You flatter me, but I guess we'll have to see now won't we? You flirtatious thing, not that I'm any better.
Some find them that way, others don't. Just how things roll, but they're tools like anything else and with a little common sense and experience its nothing. Driving a car is far more dangerous in the end oddly enough.
Maybe its the fact that she just wants love and isn't whole but desires to be and she's willing to kill for that desire. Also she's got a hell of a lot of personality compared to some of the others who are cardboard. Pretty. But cardboard.

We most definitely have to see. Don't you fail to rise to the occasions and It'll be one to remember, I can promise you that.
Well, and precisely that's the reason I don't drive a car either. Too afraid I'll crush someone's pelvis on a wrong turn or something. I'm just an anxious person about certain things.
Well, I can't say I'm a conoisseur, but most animes tend to have one or two developed characters and a bunch of filler support cast. But yeah, that art style is amazing. You have a good eye, handsome.

I sure hope so, I've grown bored seeing the same things over and over.
That's kinda cute in a way to be honest. The anxiety fades over time I promise.
I'm not really as much into anime as I used to be either, but that is really true. Some things catch my eye and Rozen Maiden was one of them with the cute characters and lolita fashion. Pfft me handsome? Now that's just overstating things.

Never heard of it. I used to use Altitude by Swiss Army. Nowadays I use Paco by Paco Rabanne. They don't make it any more, so I have to buy generic.
Warm fruity/woodsy fragrances are the best. Try this one, plus it's cheap so if you don't like it you can mail it to me.
Ok, that fruity thing does sound nice.
Although mailing a bottle full of alcohol sounds like a fire hazard in the making.

I iike the rhythm of that phrase. I'm stealing that metre for some lyrics.
I was thinking Punk + Metal + Tempo = Thrash Metal, Punk + Metal - Tempo = Sludge Metal. Please tell me how wrong i am and why
Eh, I wouldn't say so. Because Thrash has got more elements of Harcore Punk in there, and I feel like high tempos are essential to Hardcore Punk, not apart from it.
Also sludge metal is one of those fake genres I refuse to acknowledge.

I just shove them under Doom Metal. Whilst I believe tempo is an element of genre, I think it's stupid to define a genre because sometime sit accelerates a bit.

Mmm. Well, that's a bit of a tough question. Like, back in the seventies it's easy: as Hard as Zeppelin or softer? Then it's Hard Rock. As heavy as sabbath or heavier? Then it's Metal. But nowadays it's a bit fudgier, so stay with me through three paragraphs as I try to explain my cutting line.
The first thing most people would point to are the lyrics, but I refuse outright to let poetry dictate musical genres so I don't consider that to determine genre, but I do vocals. Vocals in rock tend to have much more place, whilst metal is usually led by guitar or bass -sometimes drums, but that's odd. And vocals in rock can be hard and gravely like, say, Van Halen but they're rarely outright shouted like, say, Dio.
Second: whilst Hard Rock has introduced more and more "riffage" as the years go on they tend to be a bit "looser" and less mechanical, for an example of what I'm saying check out something like "Welcome to the jungle" by GnR and "Speed of Light" by Iron Maiden or Anarchy in the UK, both the Sex Pistols (punk) and the Megadeth cover (Metal). It's got a bit more swagger, usually. And there's that all important word: heavy. Synchronisation betwen the bass, the drums, and sometimes the guitar to make the downbeat huge is a big thing in metal, and whilst it happens in rock as well it's a lot less common and less marked.
Finally a compositional matter: Metal tends to be pretty dark and minor composition wise, outside of a few outliers like Iron Maiden, but you can spot those via the all powerful riff dominance. Like, say, White Limo's intro riff and vocals are very metal, but I actually think it's more of a Harcore Punk track because of the way it opens op and becomes more "colourful" near the middle. Like, say, compare that White Limo shifts its mood at 1:00 to the way Symphony of Destruction shifts it at 0:40. Both open up, but symphony remains heavy and drudgy.
And finally: I think a lot of Hard Rock straddles the line nowadays, and there's a lot of space for ambiguity. I'm actually not a fan of that, I prefer my rock to have more chord progressions and less riffs (but still have some riffs). But it can be hard to tell, and there's a lot of bands that can fall on either side from song to song or album to album.
So, uh, yeah.

Big fan of their millenium stuff. Blue album had good promise, but was woefully amateurish, Pinkerton is not... bad but it is mediocre, and definitely their worst. Green album, great album, but not very... weezery, too airy for my taste, weezer is usually a bit crunchier. Starting Maladroit quality varies, but I like everything from that era a lot. Hurley was mediocre. Everything Will Be Alrigth had an odd taste, but it was pretty good in a lot of places.
Favourite song is Heart Songs.
Favourite song is Heart Songs.
Thank god for girls is... fine. It's a fun track, but nothing particularly interesting. I like it, but I don't think about it. Musically it's nothing remarkable, but it's fun. Lyrics are about generic subject matter, but I've always liked the Weezer way of writing lyrics, sort of... quirky, rapid fire, oddly detailed at seemingly random points. I like it. The innuendos are terrible, but at this point I'm convinced Cuomo hasn't actually ever had sex and he's just heard about it form drunk blokes at pubs, so... doesn't make it better, but that's to be expected.
I quite dig Do You Wanna get high except that the vocals sound like they were recorded while half asleep. Although that maybe because almost all the melodies in the song are ripped off from this cartoon I used to watch called "Kaleido Star" purely because the intro song was absolutely fantastic. The first one, anyway, there was like 6 but I stopped watching it after they replaced the first song. You can basically copypaste my comment about the lyrics of the last song here.

I don't think I would. And I think I would like some my life without Rihanna on it.
I'm just installing software 'cause I moved PCs a week and a half ago and it's such a grind to get everything up and running again. Especially after both itunes, and the music player I tried to replace it with farted on me.

I'm just wasting some time, sanding my violin's bridge. You?
Oh you play violin? I havent played in years...
Do you have skype?
Do you have skype?
Well I reckon I'm not that much better. I play guitar, bass, piano, violin and saxophone. But I still rather enjoy it. Why did you stop?
I didnt play for very long. only like a year.
I wanted to play cello but it's kinda a really big instrument and I'm small so I think it'd be awkward.

I... yeah... sorry to disappoint you, mate, but I'm straight. Nothing personal. I'm sorry if I sent you any mixed messages but I was joking.
oh... I'm so sorry i thought you were flirting with me...
It's alright, it happens. Just, y'know, I'm not into that, I understand why the confusion would happen.

Well therein lies the problem, doesn't it? If I loved you. Thing is: I'm not so sure about it any more, mate. The flame is gone, I don't even know where we stand any more. To be honest I'm prepared to buy a Noel body pillow and just never bother with people ever again. That's how much you've damaged my heart.

Have you realized that Muse is the lost little brother of Dream Theater?
But nah really, just for say they can sound very similar at a point, specially in Octavarium. Matt Bellamy and James LaBrie can sound really similar when using a high pitch voice, and the synths/keyboards are also very alike.
yyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh?

I can totally see it in Absolution because that's Muse's most Metal album. But not really before, early Muse was very navel-gazing 90s style -or at least as navel-gazing as you can get while being Muse- and Modern Muse is a bit more lean, not as rough and tumble as metal is.
As far as the singing goes, they do have sort of similar styles with the vibrato and the melismatism, but I don't think they sound very alike. Matt sounded way thinner and more stretched than James from 1999 to 2003, and then he filled out his voice and now he sounds fuller than James has ever sounded. Although I guess they met in the middle in Black Holes and Revelations, when he was halfway to filling out his voice, they did sound kind of similar.
Sp. uh. sort of, yeah.

Muffins, tio, payo.

And, well, that's about it.

so, I got blown by a coworker.
you always do **** like this, how do you make it not weird when youre at work?
you always do **** like this, how do you make it not weird when youre at work?
I don't know if I should be flattered or offended by that reputation.
It doesn't have to be weird. It's mostly pre-emptive I'd say, making sure everybody involved knows it's just a fling if that's the plan -or not, if that's the plan, just making sure people are sure of what's going on. You can clear things up later, but by then you've already done something that may have meant different things to different people and it's a bit harder. But not impossible, so y'know: Just chat and establish the borders of your relationship, whatever that may be.

i know it's incredibly petty but those people that are harrassing me are really starting to get to me
I haven't been on as much as of late, since it's just Eluk bitching about things most of the time. What's going on?
Oh, lol. Pay them no mind, mate. That's just petty, if they're doing that they're the ones at loss here.

This is terrible. But what I'm perplexed by is the drums: the drummer is just beating the **** out of that kit, did he even know he was recording a bubblegum pop song?
That YT user creates mashups of anime songs with hip-hop and pop songs
Not with those vocals.
But that little late-1800s sounding waltz bit in the middle was pretty alright.
