Here are a few links that helped me out a lot.

you can download both of these books from torrents

Remember the only things you need are PREPARATION & MOTIVATION.

I personally recommend doing Bodyweight exercise only for a more natural look and functioning body rather than looks. Not saying that Bodyweight training wont get you the looks though. If however you want to bulk up in size, join a gym after you are able to do 10 pull ups in one set without stopping or getting tired. Lift carefully.

Okay, first off you need to Run. Believe me on this. Run five days a week. If you don't want to run, go swimming, it's better, if don't want to swim, go cycling. You have to do one of these 3 activities so that they all add up to 5 per week. Next in the beginning, you need to make a program of simple bodyweight exercises for all muscle groups.
Target every muscle with your workout.
Here is the program i started with.

Pull ups 15, Chin ups 15, Push ups 30, Tricep Dips 30, Shoulder Dips 30, Squats 50, Wall sit 1 minute, Crunches 30, sit-ups 20

I used to do these every morning and go for running in the evening. Except for Sundays.

Then when you start getting better, start adding more exercises and take out the ones you don't like or are not working for you, don't keep doing the same thing over and over again. Also keep increasing repetitions every week.

For example week 1, you do 15 pull ups, week 2, you do 17 pull ups.

Then when you have a lot of exercises to do and a lot of reps to complete, divide your workout between leg day, upper body day and core day (abs).
When you have your workout plan divided among days, then work 3 days in a row, and rest for one day. Keep going through this cycle and keep changing and mixing things up.
You will see a lot of positive change. ALSO REMEMBER WORK HARD OR WORK LONG Either work for long amounts of time, or either work HARD.
Also do a lot of reading about this stuff, because it's possible what worked for someone else, might not work for you.
Also don't fret too much on a diet. Just eat when hungry and eat a lot. Your body will need a lot of energy to recover your muscles. Separate your meals 6 hours from each other.
#133636 - would this workout plan work for gaining muscle mass and burning fat?  [+] (5 new replies) 05/16/2014 on Advice - love advice,... 0
User avatar #133686 - teoberry (05/16/2014) [-]
Nooooooooooooot realllllly. You're gonna burn fat and gain a little bit of muscle, but it's better to focus on one or the other, not both
User avatar #133662 - hsm (05/16/2014) [-]
It would work but it would take longer than any normal focused work out. I mean this workout has a lot of cardio related movements and too less muscle building movements and it also does not attack the muscles from different angles.

If you are interested, i can give you a lot of information on bodyweight exercises and training. It depends on what you are trying to achieve.

I am considering your information on the matter related to burning fat and gaining more muscle mass. Currently I am 6' and 195 pounds (of which most is fat). I would like to gain more muscle mass that would contribute to a better figure of my body while gaining weight that comes from muscle. (Since muscle weighs more than fat.)
